Chers colin she is going onto do Maths,Chemistry and Biology ''A'' levels and just done her further maths exam am hoping there will be a couple of A* in there my partnerb has a degree in maths and archaeology but been so long since she did any maths even she's been struggling to help her.If anyone thinks exams are easier they should take a look at the level they are studying at nowadays,way beyond what i was doing when i got my ''0'' levels and absolutely no course work either the standards now are far higher than ever before..

Am not convinced this is a miler at all but as it's such a big price will have a look,think it really needs another furlong or two has only had four runs and one of them was over 1m4fs at wolves beaten 7;s behind glencadam glory and white desert now rated 108 and 92 so no chance of beating those two and the time of the race seemed respectable for demophon in third.In fourth was full suit another 5ls behind and getting two pund,has since run second in a seller and third in a fasr beter race than this at yarmouth off 58 even though beaten 7ls was a 0-70.Demophons run at notts since over 1m2fs the ground was very soft that day was beaten 6ls in this grade..Gets to run in tomorrows handicap off 62,doesn't look a bad mark on the wolves form although i'm not comvinced this mile will suit he's probably worth following for a few runs on the aw till getting right distance..Traineron losing streak so betting will probably be a pointer as well
It's an impossiblr handicap there are loads of interesting runners like king torus coming back onto the aw,the groove has been disappointing but well in and the most obvious one on c/d form beatbybeatbybeat,hardly runs a bad race been running well in this grade over c/d has time on the clock and if gets pace to aim at then should be involoved in finish.Scrutiny also stands out on form at the track,last four runs been in tps and has been 1/4/3/2 and has even dropped in weights will almost certainly be involved if running to those runs off just 53 with claim, the negative is trainer has been out of form 1 winner from last 50 runners but can't discount in this grade

Will try some ew multiples somehow have to split them you could do them all with shorties in one or mix them up or alll the two pick ones t9gether really looking at thieving bets with a couple of speculative ones thrown in,quite a few of these are horses that very rarely of ever win just they ran well on last runs..prices are short enough as well with profiles so just multis at current odds will only be playing to buttons..You can do these bets everyday for a month and be lucky to hit one,i think they are better when ground is slower books make more mistakes will put a couple up but you will have a lot of losing bets before hitting one unless prices are miles out,which tomorrows definitely aren't.

Mark Johnston 2yr old filly Natalie's joy hacking up by 6ls and looking good for more today at goodwood,time was only .18 slower than standard and .72 quicker than the older horses handicap won by 79 rated Englishman one of the best times by far this season especially on debut.So far prices have only come up for Albany,they look absolutely huge on that run today even though fairyland is entered as 5/2 fav so far only three priced up but there's nothing else that's run that looks outstanding,probably suggests it may niot run in this race but out of lope de vega unless its not going to run in this then maybe not run at ascot,regardless it's still worth risking as you'd have to back her in anything she's entered at these sort of prices even if she doesn't run.Sire lope de vegas progeny usually do better over further 7fs and a mile so she's obviously one to watch very closely in future,i was looking at queen mary but so far sires only had 2 winners from 44 runners over 5fs so seems unlikely but would still back her if entered although that would look the wrong race to me..Could yet be looking at next years 1000 guineas runner for Johnston,have been watching the Johnston horses closely and hasn't had anything outstanding yet from 2yr old,one that won at newbury last week I have as best before this one,this has looked his best..
If she does stay entered in this even with O'Brien horses entered I would be amazed if any books are laying prices bigger than 7-8/1 tops once declared,even at those prices on what's been seen so far that would still look a bit of value on times going into the race..Also you will see timeform highlighting this time and hugh taylor and maybe an antepost bet once definitely declared..

40/1 365 1000 Guineas i can't not back her after mentionung guineas in write up month before ascot,she eventually ran in the chesham which didn't look a good race,think the 2yr olds seen so far are mainly a poor bunch and the probability is there are some far superior ones to run,but the time was so outstanding at goodwood can't just scrap her at this stage if she bounces back on next run she could still endb up being favourite. Got to be worth a speculative bet as still has the best time clocked this season by 2yr old..

I only back the "headline" selections not the two or three savers and didn't do any of the ante post each way as ante post is risky enough without doubling up. Saw there were some winners in the multiples but they didn't cover my e/w multiple stakes (how I backed them anyway) so I have backed these as singles without a winner (until tonights wins!) as yet unless I'm missing something - Twin Appeal, Afaak, Hors de Combat, Eltezam, Bridge Of Sighs, Kaths Legacy, Adventureman, Welliesinthewater, Donnachies Girl, King Robert, Laughton, Glory Fighter, Natalies Joy, Burtonwood, Sergei Prokofiev

If they had a write up then they were singles so there were three winners some places and rebacked the ante post bets at those biogger placed terms don't bet 50/1 shots if there's 6 and 7 places on offer plus affak as well in same race anything 7/1 upwards is ew,infact that race was probably one of my biggest winner singles bets as could get on the night before..as opposed to miost bets i can't get much on..I don't include any savers at all..
Am having desperate luck multiples today sophie roleston couldv'e gone stands side on monarch mauidf and essaka both wouldv'e won huge advantage she did it with furlong to go,then dalness express gets brought down in the race and becker unseats jock and runs off and it still runs,shouldv'e been withdrawn,just ruined all the multiples.Grounds desperate at windsor overwatered don't know what they've dome there punters shafted if backing gd/fm ground horses hasn't rained for a week yet the times are desperate,the wolves track is completley shafted running like heavy ground never seen times so slow 1m3.18 over 5fs in 0-75 have never seen times that slow before at wolves since it was relaid..

Sportung chance won on debut run at wolves over 6fs,winning time looked pretty quixk for a debut run 1m13.48 with normal progress you'd expect the horse to be able to go well below 1m13 and not many races are run there in those sort of times so will risk a small bet even thoigh switched to Kempton going the otherway round.The form hasn't really worked out the 2nd that had previous experience has been beaten in a weaish maiden at notts and the third cupboard love 4ls behind won by 5ls next time out but then was easily beaten in again another weak maiden.The form looks mediocre the clock suggests its a good aw horse,with hannon,charlie hills,charlton and Johnston In there not worth risking more than a small bet with form being let down,but have to back it just because of winning time..Betting will be interesting as went off 6/4 on debut,could well go off pdds on if improvement is expected on top of debut.Maybe worth trading or reven getting a free bet..It looks the type that will either reaffirm the time and prove it's better than that or just completely bow out..

A bit speculative as veteran now at 9,i can't ever remember backing the horse for years was rated 78 on turf l;ast season and was second and third off those marks as well last win on turf was 2016 and last win was 2017 on the aw at swell,obviously on downgrade now on a mark of just 60.
This season hasn't shown much couple of reasonable runs on the aw in low 70s then two runs on turf beaten easily in both races,althouigh those races were a 0-70 and a 0-75 was third in the 0-75 although beaten 13ls had plenty of 70+ horses behiond.
Tomorrow drops to 1m4fs not even sure that will suit and drawn out in the car psrk drawn 14,so could easily be a non trier from that draw from appleby stable,it's a terrible race though a 0-60 some of the form horses are actually going up in grade while brigaddon comes down..Might have to wait another race or two but in these 0-60 probably worth following for a copuple of runs as still retains enough ability to figure in these,will be watching closely...

Have backed evie speed 5.5 and 1.72 a place,decent speedfigure on debut at thirsk probably something like an 85 horse small trainer with garrity riding against bigger stables,should run ok though with improvement..

Shouldv'e left it drifted from 3.55 thought there was some value there on the place with the drift,didn't seem bothered about winning or placing strange ride...one for nuseries by the looks..

Would probably be a bit surprised if welliesinthwater were good enough to win this,a lot may depend on the ground as i've never seen fast ground on the round course even though it will show gd/fm you never ever see times even getting within a second or two on it over a mile,plus if it hasn't rained think they are watering anyway..Welliesinthwater had lots of racing mainly on the aw won plenty of races but pretty exposed although has only raced ten times on the turf and won twice last turf win was off 78 in june 2016 at donny over 7fs,made a rare appearence back over that c/d recently in a 0-95 running well in 5th escobars come out of that race and won and welliesinthwaters dropped another two pound.Tomorrow the race is a furlong further and as said on the round course,there are better class horses in the race like favourite storm ahead and one or two others but a few of them want softer ground..Probably worth a small bet after that run in a 0-95 its two best tur5f runs have been on this track although was the straight,am not a fan of seeing paddy mathers riding as always seems to be on the non triers but at least its turf rating has come down did run well at leicester last sesson off 89 so could figure as long as ground is on quick/good side,fav storm ahead looks the obvious one if more juice and sinfonietta both horses are better than these on ground with juice..Really if there's any juice or rain tomorrow he will probably be nearer last as a few in here are very well handicapped softer ground horses,the betting would completely turn around as well hopefully stays dry and not get left 10ls as he has had a habit of doing,not really a horse i have backed too often even on the aw..

King robert has become slightly disapointing in recent runs quite a difficult ride and visors and pieces have been played around with so not showing his true potential,was rated 95 at one point hasn't won on turf since 2015 and that was hios first two runs.He still retains plenty of ability but it's a matter of will he win a race,on debut run this season a decent 3rd in a 0-95 to gunmetal over c/d,thats decent form but disappointed at haydock in a similar race last time out although the first four came off the pace in a race he led.Tomorrow he gets to run in a 0-85 for the first time drops to just 85 graham lee rides been riding a few winners,think the worst he will do is be a decent trade can't really see him being bigger than 7/1 tops in this race [presuming it's trying bryan smarts horses havn't been winning but at least has had a few places.If he can repeat the thirsk penultimate run then should run well from the 13 draw,although the fact he hasn't won for two seasons on turf with various headgear shows how difficult he is to win with..The armed man ran disappointingly here last time out,had looked progressive and open to improvement may run better than thatb last run..

75 those four runners are still lightly raced and open to imprivement and hiight was onl;y just over 5ls behind on debut.Has run twoce since at wolves and kermpton over 7fs,slowly run races and has looked very one paced in races was never going to win anmyway but only hit twice with the whip in three runs.Tomorrow gets in handicap off 62 charlie bennett takes off three down to just 59,very difficult to know what his trip or ground is after those aw runs was on soft side when ran here on debut,out of archipenko does have winners over 7fs and gd/fm ground but usually better over further and slightly better on slower ground,not great draw in 7 either ..Could be very well handicapped might be a case of long term project but this race is poor and that 6f run here looks good so worth paying to find out..
Flying sakhee was a maiden till its c/d run,winning on 25th attemp as well that race looks better than this one even though same grade time was good as well and still sits on a mark of 48 if it puts it in like last run has to be involved in finish,also the other 3yr old from the 11 draw and charlie fellowes stable just three runs a third in a maiden at thirsk open to improvement wouldn't have to imprive much to figure in this if at all.

Couple of nice places again so unlucky gets all the ew money again though,turned into a cracking day!!

Some cracking picks,so unlucky so close to a monster day hilight ended up on far rail looked beat then stayed on while winner came down the middle got 2 ew lucky 15s double the odds one winner should double there stakes easy ,great end to the month been a cracking weekk.every single was a winning bet frustrating not getting two winners...Just going to worj out multiples now..
 
Had a lucky 15 ew. treble odds one winner. So profit on day. Knew wellies was the one but had to do the lucky.
One day! one day! Didn't do the short one as a named one popped up so added it instead. Legend still amd forever gigs.
