I'm entitled to an opinion. I'm not a troll. Everyone knows who I am, where I live and what I do. If I want to point out that the KABOOOM for a paragraph 44 mention of a horse is at best obnoxious and at worst completely disingenuous that's what I'll do. I don't expect everyone to agree with me.

Why bother knocking the post when you know obviously i backed the pair and maybe i backed others in the race and forecasts as i do in all big handicaps,everyone on here can see i added that in to bet late last night afterr the prevoopus days draw came up, don't want any pats on the back but why be such a snide others did it and didf the forecast.I put one up two days befire race goes off fav as predicted,i posted snazzy jazzy last night was 18/1 when posted both smashed off the boards and finish 1,2 how can anyo0ne possibly have a dig at that in one of the hardest races of the year,unreal..

ok, I'm not understanding this

He put a horse up at EW odds 36 hours before the race, which got backed into being favourite, which then came second.
He then, 15 hours before the race, updated the post, mentioning the effect the draw had earlier in the day, and mentioned one other horse that he thought might go well, which won at 12-1.
So 2 selections, a 1st and 2nd in a 23 runner race on heavy ground.
I have no idea if he did a RFC but he could have, and so could anyone else who viewed the thread overnight or anytime up to the race.
What were you expecting, a tricast?

You don't have to justify it fella it's not as though the threads 7 years old and i've been doing it month after month for years the difference is i know its going to hapopen or i wouldn't bother posting..there was another horse mentioned in wruite up 5th cold stsre as well..:rolleyes:

you mean the time before when it was tipped and was unplaced, yeah it was 13/2 then (3.50 Yarmouth on 18/9)

in the 4.00 at Chelmsford today when it won it was 7/4 best price and SP'd at 6/4

ok, but I've had to close the thread in the past, and while some may feel the Kaboom is over the top, they don't have to read or comment on the thread.

Considering how quiet the forum goes over the summer (which is understandable for all manner of reasons) and giggsy posts all year round, I'm not going to be bothered about him typing kaboom when he has a winner, and am struggling to see why anyone would. So far today he's had a 12/1 winner, 6/1 second, 6/4 winner and a 5/1 second from 4 selections (at SP). Although he doesn't pick every winner, personally I think he does remarkably well, and even when they don't win, more often than not they start at shorter prices, at least giving people a chance for trades if they so wish.
 
Who cares about style when the winners keep coming?

I had a reverse exacta on the two mentions in the Silver Cup. The dividend was £104.10. What's to complain about?
 
For me the kaboom is neither here nor there. The main frustration is the website in as much as if someone edits their post and say adds another pick then even if you have subscribed to the thread there is no way of knowing unless you have logged on. You might say well you should log on day and night but for some that is not possible. So if another pick is added and you don't know about it until you see the kaboom, then that's when folk get miffed. Nobody likes to miss a winning pick.

A way round it would be for the poster to reply to the post saying it has been edited. That way people who are subscribed to the thread will get the email nod.
