Are you for real the bet I put up was a place multiple as stated never even backed tonights two winners and the queen catrine bet was separate, the place multiple as I put ew probably doubled or trebled money as well, the only bet I could get on today was queen catrine advised at 4/1 won at 9/4 I couldn't get anymore bets on as I have now no accounts.I've out up a winning ew multiple 4 places 1 winner and a 4/1 winner as had some spare time and still getting idiots on the thread moaning are you people for real or what...

Had biggest win in 20 years yesterday,so little chance iof me getting any bets on for the foreseeable future these shorteners to me so slight value on the place and pool house will either hack up or be out of frame could do some sort of ew multiples
Diamond blaise 11/4 betfairsportsbook
My major 9/2 365/betfairsportsbook
No delusion 4/1 betfairsportsbook
Pool house evens ppower
Roccos delight 3/1 ppower/nbetfairsportsbook/hills
Black truffle 9/4 betfairsportsbook/2/1 365

Also Queen catrine 4/1 lads as long as grounds on fast side can't see this going off bigger than 5/2 there's even a chance could go off fav although has been disappointing, ran well last time out on sioft ground...

C'mon lads read what gigsy said "some sort of ew multiples" I had 4,5 and 6 folds just reading between the lines. Could have added catrine for 7 folds but was waiting to see ground. So had a single.
Ew 6 fold payed 8/1 with the nr.

It's ridiculous folk moaning on this thread. You're not being forced to back anything ffs. The thread is a gold mine and the results speak for themselves. People coming on moaning because they've done their conkers backing one hopefully doesn't reflect the majority of folk who appreciate getting the chance to look at the form that Gigilo puts up

not moaning just dont see the point of him saying nap won ,when not mentioned, he posted 7 horses ffs

You're quite right Osgood he never said nap before fair enough but he said "if the goings fast" so obviously fancied it but was waiting to see ground/weather but the other 6 a hes told you what bet he'd advise so can't argue with that one really mate. Pays your money takes your chance!

I also am not moaning - I followed the "to follows" as gigilo calls them and they didn't make me any money.

I've then asked a perfectly valid question about something that, in the light of gigilo's information that he doesn't back 75% of them, looks anomalous, and asked for an explanation of why he backed that one - still awaiting a response.

Essentially the thread appears to be better off being called the after-timing thread, where only winners will be mentioned twice. We could all start a "horses I've backed that won" thread if we wanted to.

Giving the benefit of the doubt, however, I will continue to put up the runners beforehand and if gigilo doesn't want this to be the after-timing thread, he can state in advance which ones he believes to be worth a bet. I think most people on this forum suspect he won't. I'd like him to prove us wrong.

Why should he be obligated to state in advance what to back? Take responsibility for your own betting. I for one, back some and leave other's but appreciate the form lines and the time and effort that goes into them, all for free i might add

for the same reason that any other after-timer should be encouraged to post beforehand.

well why not put them up in advance , he finds time to come on when some win , i didnt back any today btw , i just dont see the point of aftertiming just the winners

for the same reason that any other after-timer should be encouraged to post beforehand.

He has stated many times that he uses this thread as his form book. Not a "what i am backing today" or a 'will win" thread. If he wants to 'Boom' or 'whoosh' a winner so what? If you don't like the thread or think he's an after-timer just stay off the thread. Don't ruin it for those that appreciate the form lines he puts up

Sellingallthetime would have been an excellent example of the sort of thing that grates on this thread. Advised last Jun as being a horse to back on the a.w. at marks up to 90. Runs 8 times in the interim, 4 of them on a.w. and loses all of them.

Horse wins at 11/1, gigs claims he backed it at 25/1 (which would have been contrary to the stated conditions that were required - which the rest of us are accused of being stupid/lazy for ignoring). Personally, I'd reckon that the mark he was on by then (just 2lbs higher than his win) was the main reason gigs backed him.

But he then comes on, after the event, claiming a fabulous winner at an unbelievable price, without even having the decency to apologise for after-timing.

don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for anyone who has a winner at 25/1 and when I do it, I pretty much always feel the need to after-time - but at least I have the balls to apologise for doing it. :D

Off the same mark as it's last win. Hardly a huge surprise if a massive price. (120 taken - apologies for the after-timing but can't get the grin off my face - and yes - I did back half a dozen others)

Don't worry mate the ''addicts'' won't be getting anything off me,thought I'd piut up the ew multiple today returned 2 1/2 x the stake by the way plus the 4/1 winner plus two to follows winners which I never even backed due to lack of accounts wouldn't have backed the winner at Windsor at 9/2 anyway was looking for at least 8s..Not bad for a one off post ashame there's so many idiots around, there may have been some more what a pity...

Put it this way I can guarantee all the knowledgeable punters will be logging in and using this thread regardless of winners/losers that's all that matters ,the fact it's as popular as even when I was highlighting the prices speaks volumes for the interest...

Lads,

Can you actually take a step back and think about this logically. Gigilo doesn't owe anyone on this forum a winner he has provided literally hundreds of them over the years. I, being the lazy person ever, would love if he was spoon feeding us bets every day but why should he diminish his bottom line for us cunts? The game has changed with overnights so his profits are being taken away from him from people betting buttons so the less paople that have his card the better. Instead of all this nonsense on here why don't a few of you set up a mailing group to follow his list and weed out what is and isn't a bet each day. You cant win money without putting some work in. So stop pissing around pretending there is gold out there everyday and killing the golden goose on here for everyone else.

Stun gun

A poor race but a decent time on fast ground for low grade race,as .26 quicker than the second div won by half way rated 60 stun gun was just rated 48 he did win convincingly as well in the first div and with revised mark of 54 or 55 can even drop in grade. He doesn't seem one to follow up as exposed but has done most of his racing on the aw runs the same race a horse that you could back in a poor race at swell on a regular basis in place multiples but not one you would've considered as a stand out bet,as he has a habit of miossing the break.
A few things that seem to look a better turf runner this was only 6th lifetime run and secondly only 2nd ever run on gd/fm ground and if you'd taken his form literally from Donny then he was entitled to run well in this grade at Donny first ever run on faster ground was 6th to birdman only beaten 4 1/2ls in different class race, evety runner infront of him was rated 68 or above. That run was off 56 and even with the rise he's still going to be off a lower mark if he can repeat this run at Leicester then there seems to be no reason why he couldn't go on and win again he maybe even slightly improving on this different ground and there could be a couple of wins in him. What he didn't do at Leicester was miss the break which probably along with the ground has made all the difference, not a horse I'd be noting normally but there were a few good reasons and also backed up by the clock, was .26 quicker than half way rated 60 carried 7 pound less but the winner of that second div was very well handicapped as well so looks solid form,he just needs to repeat it.Thibk the ground will be the major factor and somewhere like the straight 7fs at Leicester where the runners get spread out ideally..

Intrepid

The times from yesterday are hard to work out,as this the best race on the card should've been a lot quicker than the other 7f races, putin rated 62 was only .16 slower in the class 6 the maiden was only .28 slower and frankthetank was only .57 slower in the seller.Looking art those times you would think the pace must've collapsed yet in all 7f races the pace held up,i havn't looked at the sectionals I don't have time and rarely benefits although might be worth checking out why these races were so similar. It suggests putins run way above hios mark as 6yr old which seems unlikely and the sellers time is to close as well.Just looking at the bare form of two moons race though looks solid, piceno has been running some of his best ever form and repetition has been improving andf two moons looked well handicapped as well so the whole race looks solid. That being the case then the run of intrepid off 71 on first run for ian Williams looks encouraging, doesn't have a great profile but still only the 11 lifetime runs. Was out the back and jock decided to come stands side which may or may havenot cost him the race.He was finishing strongly at finish, although looking at his run up the straight looked to be carrying his head high,if that's the case then was even better run.He maybe worth following back at swell this could be his surface another drop of a pound and can even drop in grade, the form looks solid and he might just be a bit of value as potentially could still improve!!

Well done to the one's who backed this on Monday, thanks for not emailing me:lol::lol: there was another 33/1 winner on Friday as well apparently!!Good to see there's plenty keeping track..

Penny royale

The time of thid race compared very favourably with the better class older handicap on the card only .20 slower than missippi winning off 84 carrying 8-10 the winner of the 3yr old race was Russian heroine off 8-12 and only rated 71 her new mark will keep her in this grade and should be competitive still probably won't be much value but worth following to see if these times work out.Penny royale back in 3rd was only rated 71 so can even drop in grade the races for horses up to 75 are usually pretty weak, she has a progressive profile and could have a few pound in hand on this run, unsure if the 6fs uis her best trip but tonight showed she could be equally as good over it,the track may have suited as get track specialists at ripon and although she previously looked like she wanted fast ground the times suggest ground on the dead side may even be better for her.
She doesn't look like a 90 horse or way ahead of her mark, but she may just get that drop in grade which might be weak enough to make her look a decent bet!!!

Brave leader

This was probably one the most impressive debuts seen on the aw over the last couple of seasons I've highlighted toast of new York from a maiden and jack hobbs and highlighted them winning maidens as top class just from winning aw maidens and this again maybe another. The winner hacking up by 7ls could'v'e been 12ls and the time was very good, over the last 3/4 meetings the tracks been a lot slower all the sprints have been won around the 1m15+ mark, yet on debut brave leaders hacked up in a time averaging 2 seconds quicker and probably good for knocking another second off that the way he won.Strangely bred for further and undoubtedly will be better over further he's going to be surely stepped into listed class races already,i would imagine his opening mark will be 90 at the very least and although he would doesn't take a lot of spotting the time suggests at least on the aw he could be top class. On this showing alone with natural improvement he looks a 100 horse alkreadty...
