Dante meeting 2025

Can anyone provide me with a selection at York tomorrow, I have got a £2 free bet to use, and my system has failed to find me a horse to back there.
System? Post the Pin (or best guess) selection to choose one Alex, it loses & you've lost nothing... you win & you've got bragging rights for a day

GL whatever carries your money.

Edit Bet365 gives you a free go on the footy (6 correct score sels on the footy every week). I use the same scores every week & many times laugh at what it throws up but one time................

After Auguste Rodin and City Of Troy, you couldn't entirely dismiss an O'Brien colt in The Derby even if a vet had pronounced it dead after its previous race, but in any rational world The Lion In Winter has a mountain to climb to win at Epsom after that.

The winner has quickened up well, the runner up has finished well, the ground looked overwatered, but it might be like that at Epsom too.

However, Delacroix and Ruling Court still have the strongest Derby credentials in my book.

For The Lion In Winter think of City Of Troy...
Whilst I appreciate that AOB has form at resurrecting horse's form in dramatic fashion, I suspect that even he may not have enough time to do it this time. And I think he knows that which was why he was hinting at 1m2f afterwards. And Hoiles makes a very valid point about it only being 3 weeks to the Derby and this was his very last chance. Had everything gone smoothly, we would have definitely seen him in the Derby. But he had been off since last August which indicates there has been enough of a problem to keep him away a good amount of time. He was stressy beforehand which was not ideal then pulled hard. So it wasn't an ideal prep in any way so close to the race. Ryan did not give him a hard ride at all which was the right thing to do and I would think they would go French Derby next. Ryan did say the horse was very classy so he's still held in high regard but I think time just isn't on their side.

The French Derby is usually on the same weekend as the Epsom one, so that’s too soon as well. I think they might stay at home and go to the Curragh for the Irish version at the end of June.

You're probably right - I thought I saw that AOB had mooted the idea so perhaps they are thinking its an easier option at this stage? or maybe its the trip or just the fact that Epsom might overwhelm him.

Rebels Romance, still at it!

What a fantastic win strike rate he has over middle distances in Group races.

Epic Poet has ran well for second.
