I love the diversity of the general public. One thing I said to my kids when they were about to vote for the first time........never be complacent, always use your vote. Mind you, I'd love for it to be made compulsory to make people vote (obv with a "none of the above" option).

If they had all been fined Ā£50 for failing to vote or, in the case of those lacking mobility, submit an online vote, even if it was only to officially abstain by ticking a "none of the above" box, it would have raised Ā£1.375 billion, money that could have been spent on: the NHS, State Education, shooting people who attempt to enter this country illegally, photos of Margaret Thatcher for all on bedroom ceilings, Boris Johnson masks, or chocolate hob nobs for life for everyone who lives in Hampshire (depending on your own individual political persuasion/illness).
