Equine Retirements, Long Term Injuries and Departures

Gutted. Do you know what happened? One of my favourites.

Sorry - I got interrupted by Soph [emoji2356]

I don’t - I got it from their Facebook page...

Joe's Edge passed away yesterday, exactly 14 years on from his 50/1 Cheltenham win, also a Scottish National winner.

Capeland and Time for Champers. Another awful example of a horse breaking down on the flat. Seems to be happening far too often at the moment.

Ginger told of when Amberleigh House arrived at his yard off the night ferry.
He was shivering in the horse lorry, neither blanket nor head collar on him looking as if he had not been fed since the deal was sealed.
Ginger was about to return the horse but sense prevailed and the horse went and did the job he was purchased for.

Kalondra, On Tour, Ballydine, Minella Warrior, It Sure Is, Impulsive Star, Acting Lass, Label des Obeaux and Pougne Bobbi amongst the recent retirements.

Frosted Grape and almost ready to be born filly. Gutted doesn’t even begin to describe how I’m feeling tonight. Sleep well lovely girl, you didn’t deserve that.
