And he's not running great in those either. I don't think he's a chaser either to be honest.
I also think he'd be better over shorter. The sire doesn't get 3 milers. I know he won over that distance but was years back.
 
No it won’t affect his rating and pointing fences tend to be easier. It may just be a case of getting his confidence back.

Energumene very likely to be OFS.

Energumene's bid to emulate Badsworth Boy by claiming a historic third consecutive Champion Chase looks like it has run aground early after Willie Mullins revealed his star two-mile chaser will likely miss the entire season through injury.

"Unfortunately Energumene has a hind leg injury and he will probably be out of action for the season," Mullins told the Racing Post on Wednesday evening.
