Thanks chaps. Tricky one for Noel, but guess he would have had limited say. Could be a similar situation for Shantou at the festival if Fry or his retained owners have a runner. Pretty certain Ruby wouldn’t be able to ride him there!
 
There's got to be some e/w value in the Betbright Chase. Can't imagine connections of Many Clouds will want his mark to go any higher with a view to defending his GN title and some of the others look well out of their depth. As such it's hard to see Smad Place out of the first three.

There's been over 30k been traded on Thistlecrack as low as 1.7 and still 12 hours to go.

Biggest certainty of the day is either Clan De Obeax or Who Dares Wins will win the first...Nickys both will need the run.

Punters never think outside the box they just head down and in they go.

Dutching double those 2 with Thistlecrack and Camping Ground is much safer and slighty more rewarding.

Cheltenham 1.50 Small EW bet on Many Clouds and go put sugar in your coffee

Cheltenham 2.25 Champagne West looks worth a serious bet.

Cheltenham 3.00 Should be in front by now put half your winning on the banker of the day Yanworth. Best horse Alan King has had in a very long time.

Cheltenham 3.35 Sit back and relax and count your winnings when BF SP's are returned you are in an unbeatable position.

Cheltenham 4.10. Get the fook outta there and go get drunk you've earned it.
 
I live just south of Bristol, so not too far away, and it's been hammering it down all night. Given Claisse is currently describing the going as "heavy, waterlogged in places" I'd bet against it going ahead.

Have to say I was surprised to hear about it this morning , wind has dropped which is not helpful. Not been up the course this week so don't really know how bad it is Grassy. Still not raining though.
 
Claisse on local radio saying a couple of showers, and there are a few forecast, would "really set us back"
 
We've just set off from Poole so everything crossed. Hotel cost lost if meeting off so will just have to make it all back at Donny
