Parish Boy greatly impressed my racing buddy Paddy at Leopardstown in appearance, attitude and ability. Thankfully given time by Jim Bolger to come to himself Paddy reckons he one for the notebook for 2015.
Great to see a horse like Phoenix Reach get a decent two year old. A perfectly admirable and tough racehorse who did it in many continents yet was standing for only 1500 he can surely get more and better mares next year

You'd like to think that edgt but after a few seasons at the National Stud he was banished to a small stud in Shropshire. I'll try to find out how many mares he covered this year.

I have a soft spot for National Stud stallions since Grundy ( my first hero) stood there. That Golden Snake (sire of Apache Gold) also stood there only adds to the love ! Phoenix may be the one for Lady Sarelle next !
