FINAL WATCH - (Ascot, 14:12)

Won this corresponding event 12 months ago and as good as ever when scoring from the same mark at Newmarket in July. Perhaps found race coming too soon when disappointing there next time and left poorly placed at Sandown since

Put Sea Stone 2.30A up at Southwell last week and - off a slow pace - Frankie never put him in with a chance, though he did finish a close 3rd.
Better expected today, but not much of a price.

Tomorrow:

HARRY BROWN - (Ascot, 16:45)

timeform
Has shaped with encouragement several times this season and can easily be excused his latest run at Haydock (didn't get a clear run), so no surprise if he's on the premises from a handy mark.

Elderflower cracking first run from a debutante in a sales race. Cost £50k...should improve considerably next time.

Tomorrow

LEADENHALL - (Chelmsford City, 17:30) - 10th and last 2/1fav - The performance of LEADENHALL which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered. The representative of Ralph Beckett could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.

timeform
Winner at Haydock in August. Looked unlucky not to win when second of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm, 10/11) 48 days ago, needing stronger gallop. Visor on 1st time. Expected to be bang there

No? I have one - "Sorry to anyone who got the 4/1 available last night but Raph had an aneurysm and decided what a big unit like Leadenhall needs, a horse who tends to race keenly, was to spend the whole of the race on the turn at a fcuking dog track."

ANCIENT WISDOM - (Newmarket, 13:25)

timeform
€2,000,000 yearling who made an impressive winning debut at Haydock (7f) before following up in workmanlike style on the July Course (7f, good) 15 days later. Seemed beaten on merit when third in Ascot listed event on most recent outing but that form is proving strong and will be suited by 1m.

MONTASSIB - (York, 14:25)

timeform
Scored at Newmarket (7f) in May and has got right back on track of late, fifth of 24 to Significantly in Ayr Gold Cup 21 days ago, Shortlisted off an unchanged mark.

SECRET ANGEL - (Newmarket, 17:00)

timeform
Triple-winner as a juvenile and established as a useful filly despite failing to add to her tally this term. Another excellent effort when second at Ayr 3 weeks ago but she has work to do with a few of these

Not sure how long to keep this going - up to Champions Day I guess. Here’s today, anyway.

VERDANSK - (Kempton, 19:00)

timeform
Went backwards from his handicap/seasonal debut when tenth of 14 at York (7f, good to firm, 7/2) in May. Off since (has been gelded) as he switches to all-weather on first run for yard after leaving Clive Cox.

And a Sterling job you've done BJ.
Had a small ew on today's, not least owing to the plum draw for one which can race prominently.

Thx, reet, but I just recorded it. One of euro’s earlier ones (hope he had it today)
You are too modest,BJ.
You have logged them, let us know when they are running, kept a running total of P/L, and given a precis of their form before they run - all valuable info and open to view.
Might even take an interest in your jumpers,as winter moves in.
Thanks for your diligence.:adore:
