Ealain will run in the 2.50 on Thursday at Southwell. It is a Class 5 as against a Class 4 last week and there are seven declared to run, including us. the two horses that finished in front of us last time are also in the race but David Evans will probably use an apprentice rider so we will have a better weight, it could make the difference.

There are one or two other useful types in the race but we are hopeful that we will at least get a place.

Not strictly a forum horse but as we all know was bred by songsheet - novabridge won at Kempton tonight.

And no, no after timing here - didn't know he was running!!!

Absolutely delighted to hear that Mr. Claisse is doing the right thing in watering the New Course tonight. Fast ground at the Festival spells danger for every horse and jockey. If he repeats the process tomorrow night it might allow our horse (Shantou Magic) to run in the boys' race on Friday.

Well done Songsheet

Good luck Michael o

Our horse Ealain Aibrean runs in the opener at Wolves tomorrow evening - trainer thinks race will be tough but she will be trying.

The ground today was more soft than good, just perfect for the Festival, so Shantou Magic takes his chance tomorrow. We have one of the country's best Conditionals on board, able to claim his 3lb., and the horse surely has a far better chance than his current odds would imply.

Un Guet Apens runs in the Novice chase at Carlisle. The ground has gone against him a bit but he's fit and ready.
