from an online chat this AM due to an as yet unprocessed withdrawal

Treena
I am looking at your request now and I can see that it is currently being processed by the relevant department.

Treena
Unfortunately, due to high traffic/volume of withdrawal requests we received after the Cheltenham Festival, we are experiencing a delay in processing yours.

You
mmm.. okay, so how much longer do you expect to hold on to my money ?

Treena
Im afraid to say that I am unable to provide a specific date/time since we have unexpectedly received massive requests. And along with it are enquiries and reports. All we could ask for now is your kind understanding and patience.

I'd never used them prior to Cheltenham and next year I'll stick to the highly established bookies given it took me a while to be paid out by that West Ham sponsored firm that went broke last year.

I don't think you joined through a link from here but if you did drop me a PM with your user name and I'll speak to the affiliate manager about it, when did you request it and have you passed KYC checks do you know?

I opened accounts at 12Bet, TLC and Fun88 after seeing offers posted on this forum.
I am in the same situation.
It seems that a lot of people are affected.
All these books are operated by TGC Europe and regulated by the Isle Of Man authorities, so I thought they were safe.
Not a pleasant feeling at the moment.

My winnings from TLC after withdrawing on the last day of the festival arrived in my account this morning.

On the other hand - the service from Betstars was top notch.

I have emailed my affiliate manager about this, if you could pm me your user name for all 3 sites and if you used the links I posted and some more details - when you requested the withdrawals for example, I can add yours to the list of complaints.
FWIW not one player is showing on my affiliate backend as signing up for fun88 through my links, so as I know of a couple so far that did, I intend chasing that up too.

If anyone else opened an account with any of these 3 bookmakers through the links posted in the thread at the time, if you don't mind could you pm me your user names on the sites please so I can speak to them about them not adding registrations to me along with everything else mentioned in this thread :)

I seem to remember live chat stating they weren't linked to the each other too, something else to have a discussion about!

All accounts closed within 10 minutes of each other this morning. Emails received accusing of fraud and bonus abuse. All money stolen.
138.com, 12Bet, Fun88.co.uk and TLCbet.

TLC had paid me out a couple of days back but it was for small change. I haven't received an e-mail from Fun88 but I just tried to log in and it says my account is closed too.

Unsurprisingly the Chat option has vanished...

Incredible

Cheers Grass but I blame myself tbh. You spend enough time in the sewer you're going to get bitten by another rat or two.

It'll teach me to avoid these shitty little start-up firms - a lesson I should have learnt after 666 last year but eventually being paid out led to a renewed false sense of security.

12bet has been operating for a while hasn't it?
Anyway, I've submitted my story to the Daily Mirror who say it will be live today.
Wont let this go

I received an email from them when they eventually paid out saying the delay was because of bonus thieves.

Now I know who's to blame...

Only joking. Hope you get it sorted pronto. Shocking stuff.

On reflection, this is an unmitigated PR disaster for Xela Holdings ( the parent company of the four Books concerned). What with national and mainstream newspapers covering the story; a Twitter storm of indignation, and a matter which the boards of Swansea FC West Brom, and Watford may see as possible brand damage to those clubs by way of association.

This is a worst nightmare scenario for the management of any company; if Xela management don't sort this out pronto then they need to go back to business school. I expect IBAS or the Gambling Commission to issue a directive if Xela don't pony up.
Then again, if Xela don't have the funds to pay out, then it's a complicated tangle ...................

Like any reasonable person, I am sorry for all punters here and elsewhere done over by this shower.

ok, after a chat with TLCbet live chat, and him backtracking after giving wrong information, I suggest anyone affected email a dispute to each bookmaker they have had the email from. When it's refused, which I'm sure it will be, then take it to IBAS.
Ignore customer support advice of to go straight to IBAS as if you haven't already attempted to solve it with the firm directly it won't be considered.

ConnorThank you for contacting Customer Support. My name is Connor.

Hi, how may I help you today?

You — Hi Conner, I'm an affiliate for you, can you tell me are you the same company as fun88?

Connor - Hi, TLCBet is powered by TGP Group Ltd. but we are a stand- alone company.

You — but send out the exact same emails as fun88? OK, how can a customer affected by your recent 'bonus abuse' emails get more information please? Who can they speak to to appeal against the decision, and for evidence that there was any abuse?

Connor
Players are entitled to seek arbitration for complaints via the following methods.

If you are a UK resident:

UK Licensed gambling operators are required to offer dispute resolution by an independent third party or ‘alternate dispute resolution’ (ADR) provider in line with LCCP social responsibility (SR) code 6.1.1. We have appointed the Independent Betting Adjudication Services (IBAS) as our ADR. Please direct unresolved complaints to them at telephone number +44 207 347 5883. Further details about IBAS can be found at http://www.ibas-uk.com/

If you are not a UK resident:
Please direct your complaint to the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. Further details can be found at http://www.gov.im/gambling/

If you are an EU resident:

You may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/?event=main.home.show

You — i'm aware of the UKGC site thanks, however they are supposed to dispute it with you first are they not?

Connor
Our decision in relation to bonus activity stands.

You — again, thats not what I asked, how can you say a decision stands when firstly you don't know which players I am querying for, and secondly when you don't know exactly what the dispute is?

Connor
You may send us your query to support@tlcbet.co.uk. If you have an account with us, I can make a report that will be sent to management.

You — just to confirm, is that your complaints procedure? This information will be placed on my site that has thousands of visitors and don't want to give incorrect information

Connor - Yes, I can confirm that it is the procedure.

You — thanks, can i also ask why you are trying to get people to go to an external site before you have escalated the complaint as per your terms and conditions, is that so you can refuse arbitration on the grounds that your complaints process wasn't followed?

Connor - That's actually our alternative dispute resolution.

You — even the IBAS site clearly states you have to have considered the dispute first before it is referred to them?
Prior to adjudication, IBAS requires that:
(1) The dispute has been fully considered by the gambling operator but has not been settled to the satisfaction of both parties.

Connor
That's correct. But the external parties posted on our site are alternative dispute resolution in case players are unhappy with the decision that we have arrived on their concern.

You — yes I'm aware of that and what IBAS's role is, but the fact is, you haven't considered a complaint yet instantly told me to go to IBAS, which can't be done without you considering the complaint

Connor - My apologies. But I was thinking you are asking on behalf of different players. In that case, they may contact us to file a complaint with us first.

You — well its more that they have to isn't it as thats what has to be done. Are you aware of the national press coverage you are getting regarding this?

Connor - The management is well aware of it.

You — maybe keeping your affiliates informed might have been a good idea seeing as we are the ones promoting you!

From the chat its obvious they are trying to get people to follow the incorrect procedure which will, ultimately, result in the punter losing out.

If anyone wants any help with writing the complaint feel free to email me or PM

Yes, thanks very much for your efforts Col.

Mine is a fairly modest three figure sum so not life changing but I'll be damned if I let these bastards get away with it.

I learned my lesson with SP racing in 1996-I swerved luvbet after carefully reading their rules.Years ago a wise head told me the number one rule of punting is make sure they can pay if you win.
Its only a matter of time before a medium firm goes wallop.
I hope everyone gets paid out but there are lessons to be learned.

Interestingly I had email from bet victor 2 days ago saying..."my bonus entry restricted...abuse of bonus promotions, involvement in syndication etc"

Yet I haven't used their bonus promotion!

My account is still active, but on live chat customer service couldn't give me a reason for this restriction, as "they are only told its a business decision"
