Galway/ Goodwood Festivals 2014

An unbelievable track; almost like Epsom in reverse .

Came to a similar conclusion myself, this year. Like Epsom, it might be worth ignoring plenty of seemingly indifferent runs for future form purposes.
Even the Steward's Cup winner ran about all over the place, and might prove appreciably better than Saturday's result makes him.
 
what impresses me from ground level is the sheer width of the track and how it slightly bends away from you if you are at ground level at the winning post...must be one of the best views of the last 3 furlongs of a race anywhere..like a panoramic picture
