Glorious Goodwood

Can Charles Hills do it again? His filly Sydneyarmschelsea was well rated by the yard last year. Big price. **edit** too keen by the look of it, another day perhaps.

My ITV coverage very iffy at the moment due to the weather. Two year race I was barely able to see.

That was an excellent ride by Ryan there. I know he had the horse, but he dictated and wasn’t intimidated by the filly bagging the rail which ensured he got home. Fabulous horse.

A great ride, yes, but it's a lot easier when you're on one of the best two horses in the race and the other doesn't run its race. Paddington is a very likeable horse but beating Facteur Cheval a couple of lengths isn't superstar stuff.

Every horse that has got the rail has won

Fake racing imo, i backed Big Evs so not pocket talking either

Getting tired of track biases, surely the COC's can do something to stop it

This is like York a few years ago, every horse that got the far rail won, 1991 i think it was

I agree that it looked like a track bias and something should be done about it but I'm not convinced that 32 years qualifies as "a few". :D

I don’t think it needs to be. The French horse relished the ground conditions. Paddington won in spite of them. If you use distance as a method of determining ability when the ground is extreme then you’re going to be disappointed.

It's his RM fetish kicking in, Jinny.:)
Ryan didn't know how the horse would act on the ground, ensured a good pace, and kept enough in hand to repel boarders.
The French horse is a good 'un in its own rights, anyway.

In the Nassau, I wouldn't be too sure the French fav has met this kind of test in the past.
Caernarfon certainly won't lack for stamina, and 22/1 seriously underrates her anyway, so I've taken some.

Big day. I have rollovers going onto the French filly in the Nassau and whilst I was gutted at the time Pefuse was taken out of the race yesterday that the Balding horse won as I had the Hukum double I did take a little 6/1 insurance about him for his other entry at the time, the opener today. Promoter and Have Secret are other trackers in that and I've had a Beckett ew double (Promoter/Balance Play). The latter runs tomorrow.

Also had an interest in Artistic Star in the Gordon. The fav is a silly price and I thought the selection looked the best alternative.

Good luck with the 'French filly' ,Euro - though I'd never trust their going descriptions, and feel her bubble might be burst, today.

For all Blue Rose Cen was very impressive last time, I think Nashwa has actually achieved more and I'm a wee bit surprised she isn't favourite. I've been toying with the idea of backing Nashwa for the last 48 hours and still can't decide so I'm not having a bet in the race. I respect the French filly too much to bet against her.

Al Husn is improving all the time and she shocked the odds on Nashwa lto. Doubtless Nashwa wasn’t quite ready that day, but it still leaves 12/1 a bit much. If anything is going to beat the French filly it might even be her.

Honestly money aside **** Nashwa and her trainer. He fucked me pulling Peace Man from the John Smiths and Gregory from the stayers race. Then he supplements this filly into the Falmouth spoiling the nice bet I had on Remarquee. I want her beaten hollow by the Cen today. Hollow.
