The fillies race is depressing. Up would be value at 1/3 if the yards runner did not all appear to need the run.

Dundalk 7.50
Billyford will need a price check in the morning. He will go off very short tomorrow. He is 5 wins from from 10 runs at Dundalk. Once rated 106 he runs off of 91 tomorrow having run a hat trick of success at the track. My only concern is why he sis not take his chance in the Irish Lincolnshire when declared overnight with Declan McDonogh due to ride. I'll see if I can find out if McDonogh tried to get the ride this time.

Missed the Lincoln due to coughing. I wouldn't read too much into McDonogh. Murtagh rode him in his two previous runs and was claimed by Oxx in the Lincoln (for the winner). Murtagh's back on tomorrow evening.

Tell you who you want to be on is this Ursa Major in the last race at Dundalk tomorrow.

As soon as the market forms tomorrow I will start wading in the cash on the exchanges.

It will be short Bruce. He ran into a good one LTO. I'd be afraid of the Weld horse though.

Any views on Archers Road Slim?

Also, keep an eye on runners from that Coach of Bombay race - could throw up some value horses next time out.

Solent Ridge has a good chance tonight also Slim.

I have him running under perfect conditions at Leopardstown to (94) which could see him figure although Leopardstown & Dundalk are not significantly rated there is a mere 0.46s difference between the course at every conceivable distance. The horse will be going around a left handed bend today & Leopardstown has a similar length straight to Dundalk.

The race did show me that the horse will improve 0.27s for a slower run race which is quite a rare sign, Ger Lyons has picked up a 5 runner affair that could potentially be run at slow fractions which would suit his horse.

When you consider weight surpresses and slows a horses ability to distribute maximum velocity when trying to accelerate into top gear then a slow run race is going to work completely against them - Banna Boriche who needs a strong strong strong pace has to give 16lbs to Solent Ridge not including Megan Carberry's 10lbs & Billyford still has to give away a fair amount too although he's the likely pace angle and could pinch it from the front.

Highly unattractive horse Solent Ridge but that should work in our favour in getting a decent price in my opinion.

Could be worth doubling up with Ursjar Major in the last - Trebling up with Archers Road if you're feeling lucky.

Solent Ridge is a fine big attractive horse - so don't know where you are coming form on that Bruce. His form around Dundalk is pretty poor overall so he wouldn't be one I'd be getting stuck into.
Archer's Road has completely lost his form and unless there was a flood of money for him I cannot see him being involved either.

Cheers OTB!

Sorry, I meant unattractive as in he's a 7 year old that has had 56 races, been around the block and consistent but doesn't really capture you're imagination when reading the card, one of those horses you just bypass and continue looking at the others.

That's where I think people might go wrong today, personally I think there are solid grounds for a decent run - many factors in your favour.

Bendzoldan 7.20. Take the scraps of 7/2 that are left. It's a 5/2 shot.

I rarely bet in handicaps, please take note.

I'm sick I didn't back Roe Deer at 5/1 in the 8.50. Now 5/2. The Abdulla horse was made look one paced by the one paced Apache last year.

Money starting to pour in for Unanimous in the last at Dundalk - are the Ballydole team on a recovery mission then?
