Cannot see it... 5lbs wrong - still a maiden - pushed up to 120 from 107 after his second to Il Fenomino. Won off 69 on the flat most recently... Ballinrobe is a sh1tbox... He could very well win but not for me against the jolly.

Thanks for your nput. I didn't go back further than his last run where he was well backed by a few shrewdies. Anything that finishes second to Il Fenomino is dirt though.

Has anyone looked at the good hurdle race at Ballinrobe tomorrow? Is Run With The Wind not entitled to go really close on his run at Leopardstown two weeks ago? It looks to me like JP is getting Touch Back handicapped for some winter pot hunting next season. I wouldn't have much of a handle on the other runners.

Yes. Should be jolly. Hope this helps.

Im getting mixed messages! I'll have to go through it. I can't help thinking his 3rd on the flat is better than anything he's shown over hurdles. He's only got 5lb to find after all.

I never look at such races, but have been forced to do so for work. You should take this as a sign. Obviously.

Duly noted. If you're covering Ballinrobe than I'll have to listen in but at least have the courtesey to respond to my emails. :D

We saw a serious Oaks contender in Kissed at Navan. 5/1 the top offer now. The 14/1, 12/1 and 10/1 was ploughed into the last couple of days.

Seriously impressive performance. My only doubt with regards to Epsom would be whether she will prove as effective on the (presumably) faster ground. Both starts have come with a fair bit of cut in the ground and her action suggests that faster ground may be a slight doubt.

Elsewhere on the card, did Dragon Khan catch anybody else's eye in the 3yo handicap? Arguably travelled best of all into the race and was given a pretty tender ride by Leigh Roche (didn't go for the stick at all) to keep on nicely for second. One to look out for in a handicap up the Curragh?

Will be interesting to see the decs this morning for Dundalk tomorrow evening - looks like being a very good card. You would imagine most of these will run with the current state of the turf tracks.

Took the 9/2 Run With The Wind e/w in the end.

I looked through Dundalk last night and a few looked interesting.

Why is Lyons running Piri Wango 7lbs wrong in that conditions race tomorrow evening??? I was hoping this one and Slade Power would avoid each other but no.... if Slade Power is 2/1 per tissue...get some..then get some more...:ninja:

WOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH

Tried to lay off but they were asking 1.01....

Glad to have helped force your hand. 9/2 was a silly price in what wasn't a very competitive race.

I was second guessing myself until you stepped in Rory. The clue was (for me) that he was so well fancied at Leopardstown that he had obviously improved and would fair better than he had over hurdles. Sometimes you can think too much about the race when the bleeding obvious is the bet.

The bullion is coming for Piri Wango - 7/2 into 9/4. Personally I thought he needed every yard of the mile to get up last time and is 7 lbs wrong but money speaks volumes.....

I've dutched Pri Wango and Carpella at just over 11/8. Pri Wango might go off that price himself.
