Bruce Bookmakers? Funnily enough they shut me after one bet on Horses. I backed a Jamie Spencer plot at Wolverhampton at 9/2 e/w 4 years ago. The SP was 7/4. Why do you ask?

Not used mine yet - remember you telling me to open an account with them but make sure the first bet was 100% unadulterated filth (not found one filthy enough as yet).

In what sense Luke?

For whatever reason bookmakers seemed never to take account of the exchange rate when deciding how much you could have on -they might decide on a ton sterling and probably a ton in euros despite there being a fair difference between the two.
Men who had sterling accounts or punted in sterling always seemed to be more serious or better informed about the game.

Anyone who saw Shebella win over 7f at Limerick on debut won't be surprised to see her stepped up in trip to 10f toninght in the Blue Wind Stakes at 7.20. I'm happy to take 7/2 that she's at least Group 3 level.

Caprella (6.20) had been expensive to follow in two starts in Dundalk this season but I'll give her another chance off of 80 at around 8/1.

That G3 looks as hot as f**k, any excuse for Caprella's last run...

Impressive by Dawn Approach.Parliament Square was fancied so that adds to the winners run.

EDITED

Just see the head on. I bet that Ger Lyons horse will be well supported next time. He was certain to be 2nd.

Last three bets

9/2 - Led inside the final furlong beat a nse and a nse in 3rd
6/1 - Led inside the final furlong beat a nk
7/1 - Led inside the final furlong beat a hd

Someone has harshly suggested I look for horses that see out the trip the better...

Don't know whether I read that maiden all wrong or that both Steely Grace and Royal Visit ran very flat.... But either way hole opened...:(

Beaten a head and a length for a place.

We never miss by that much when we're that deep :D

Two costly days completed. Please tell me there is no Irish racing tomorrow!

I thought Dawn Approach was awesome for a 2yo in the middle of May.The Chesham should be a penalty kick.Bolgers interview after the race was ultra positive.

Didn't see the interview but he looks like a serious tool. Bruce would have us believe he's only the second best 2yo in Bolger's yard never mind the country...

Did I read a post somewhere about Bolger being out of form? He certainly seems to have a lot of very lowly rated yokes running all over the place.

Any early thoughts on Wexford tomorrow?

There's at least one certainty running there - if said horse is anything like the tissue price in the morning it'll be a maximum bet.

Would love to claim it was Madeira Girl - it's Blossom Gate in the 16:55, will win on the way to taking the big 2m Handicap at Galway.
