I dont think the mile is going to be a problem with the mile after winning the Rockfell osting a time faster than the Dewhurst

one of the fillies winning in Royal Ascot and the other making debut in Autumm,
much more scope for Wading and she has already better form in my book.

I respect your opinion on the above Sunybay and I do really like Wading but I cannot agree that at this stage Wading has better form than Maybe. Maybe never dodged a soul last year in beating what may turn out to a vintage crop of fillies. Wading was impressive at Newmarket but looks all over an Oaks filly to me. I very much doubt if they will run the two at Newmarket and this would be Maybe's best chance of picking up a classic this year. AOB's classic generation are rumoured to be well ahead of this time last year in their preparation and my early season bets on the flat will concentrate around Maybe antepost for the Guineas with saving bets on Wading (just in case) and Wading for the Oaks. The 9/1 still available on Wading for the Oaks should not be missed IMHO.
As for the colts, they seemed to be an average bunch last year with the exception of Camelot. I cannot see them running him in the English Guineas though as lessons will be taken on board from St Nich "brains blowing incident" and the "spectacular speed" he showed at home prior to his Guineas two years ago. Power's setback would lead me to leave this race alone although establishing a position on Camelot for the Derby is something that I will be contemplating over the next couple of weeks. 5/2 may look tight to some but it will probably look huge come June.

I'm not saying it's definitely a 100 horse but his form is progressive and will be the one to beat.

Did you see the gallops in the Curragh after racing on Sunday?

http://blog.boylesports.com/betting_odds/plenty-of-excitement-as-obrien-horses-work-at-the-curragh/

In Group three were Order, Marchese Marconi, Exact, Ernest Hemingway, Warwick Avenue, Mannheim, Imperial Monarch, Memphis Tennessee, Reply, Nephrite and Astrology.

What was the yoke that skipped clear in the last group???

I think that was Skyphos, but I'm not entirely sure. He happens to be my pick from last year of the Ballydoyle 2yos. I wasn't sure I was going to see him at all. However, he isn't entered up in anything.

Furner's Green is the other horse I'm really looking forward to seeing. Does anyone believe his rating of 113?

First thing I looked at when I saw the field....there is nothing in his form to have him anymore than 100 odd and that's being very generous especially considering his last three runs.

A pretty uneventful card at Leopardstown tomorrow with the only interest being the opening Maiden.

I think Princess Highway could be a solid 90+ rated horse so if any the Aidan O'Brien runners put her out of sight then we might have seen a potential Group horse.

Any thoughts on Regal Tramp in the last tomorrow. Gave weight and a beating to a decent yardstick last time. Probally improve for step up and you get that feeling 5 pound rise won't be enough to stop it?

Has Tracey Collins finished her training career?

Who is J Shanahan? any relation to Pat?

No she is still training. John Patrick Shanahan is training out of Jim Long's Thistle Farm and has around ten horses for Thistle Bloodstock. I'd say it's safe to say he is related to Pat who recently retired.

Owner. (On a side note I have her as being solely under Mrs Henry's ownership and running in her colours)

Wrong! Changed on the 22nd of March. I take it that it did a gallop on the 21st

If you go through the linage of when Galileo's were introduced you find Midas Touch who was the foal of Approach and she was the foal of Last Second, half sister to the Jude.

Then there's Alleluia, half sister to Jude who produced the sensational mare Allegretto when sired by Galileo.

Throught Alouette and her daughter Alba Stella you reach Sir Henry Cecil's Derby Colt All That Matters who made a pleasing enough debut last year. Then here other daughter Altitude had a daughter by Galileo which sold at Goffs last year for £300,000.

Alexandrine, half sister to Jude also - her daughter Alambic produced a filly by Galileo called Aegan Sky for Kevin Prendergast that made moderate debut at Dundalk.

That's just the small Galileo input to the bloodline but there's countless number of black type mares constantly being churned out and it's been a great pleasure to go through the linage.

She's looking like being a 2/1 shot in the morning. If I take it will I have a ticket to ride?
