Oh wow! Aegean Sky actually runs in the same race as her tomorrow?

So that's going to be interesting.

What does that make them in terms of family?

To be honest with you the more you look into this Maiden the more it takes you by surprise with some of the pedigrees.

Do you go in on Betterbetterbetter now at 3.1 then she hacks up 3 or 4 lengths or do you wait for the result and back the card next time out with the runners being short prices for their next run?

Looking at Along, 7.8 - could you say Aidan O'Brien would be disappointed if she came home the winner Wednesday night? I think his expectations about both fillies are just as great which makes going in on the favourite a risky bet in my opinion.

Although I think you can rest safe in the fact that betterbetterbetter is going to get every inch of this trip today.

You got a half sister to Blue Bunting here and Intense Focus to deal with, even looking at Seducing - her half sister produced Zeitoper and Eastern Anthem.

What a Maiden in March, I won't be betting here and just watching in awe.

Would love someone to get some pictures though.

Thanls for that! :)

Stepped up from 7f to 10f and looks like he needs another step up. Form of the race looks poor on first reflection. All of O'Brien's horses are running dire and are weak in the market. Furner's Green odds on backers beware!

Well done on Azamata Slim Chance, looks a decent Handicapper for the future but really struggled to win today.

The horse that caught my eye was Betterbetterbetter who never come out of 1st gear for Joseph O'Brien and looked a schooling session - you could see this by the stride throughout the race. Having said that, lovely long stride and would be far better being held up and to get that close to the winner when schooling means we might have seen a good thing.

Along was a mirror image of Wonders of Wonders with that head carriage! but ran on promisingly with Seducing too.

Interesting race next,

Hit The Jackpot - 10 lengths behind Apollo who could win The Derby and would be a nice little boost if Weld's horse was to turn over Furners Green.

Silver Sycamore - On the run behind Yellow Rosebud here back in the summer would have a genuine outsiders chance but I'm not sure she's all that classy.

Valut - Looks a pacemaker! on track and at home.

Have to say I was impressed with Hartside as an individual on his debut at Sandown last year - performance wasn't up to much but he'll be better and stronger as a 4yo and makes his debut for Tommy Carmody with Niall McCullagh up tonight, having been gelded since last season and I will be having a small bet on him in the 18:25 at 22/1.

She ran a super race considering the stable looks to be 3-4 weeks behind and there is zero market confidence.

What does this mean for Dubai on Saturday considering they haven't had any runners there for the last several years?

Brendan, I wouldn't worry about Dubai and Aidan's Horses if you have invested in any of them.

The horses he's sent over are approved and certified racing professional who've made their mark in racing that have finished their developments and can be considered more easier to fit into training targets that require different seasonal expectations that may go against their natural instincts.

His runners would have been over in Dubai for at least 2 weeks preparing for their targets and will be as fit as the environment allows them to, big prizes and reputations to guard will always dictate ensuring a horse is primed - you can rest assured.

Unless they lose, in which case he will be regretting not being able to get a run into them.

They train on the Meydan track so it shouldn't really matter about getting a run in to them, if he wanted he could create racing conditions and has the course to himself.

Tantalising appears just that in the last to me. She beat my cousin's horse El Gran Torino at Bellewstown last July and the writing was on the wall beforehand when Johnny came into the parade ring and his first words were "Wachmans filly will be hard to beat".

Thought Johnny had pinched it from the front that day but Tantalising picked him up to win cosy in the end. She looked like a progressive filly that day. Having only run once since at Galway, running disappointingly that day, she's off a mark of 77 tonight. Open to improvement, if she's fit I think she'll be bang there. Ground and trip look up her street, although possibly she'll be better with a bit of juice. Nice ew bet at 12's for me.

His runners left for Dubai on Sunday.

"So You Think - all being well heads to Dubai on Sunday"

"AIDAN O'BRIEN'S squad for Dubai World Cup night experienced the Tapeta track at Meydan for the first time on Wednesday with World Cup favourite So You Think leading the five-strong team in a light workout."

He was 3/1 or 7/2 all day. The 6/1 was an overreaction to the form of the other horses on the night. It's too simplistic to say "gamble landed".

6/1 into 10/3 sounds like late money to me.

That's a lot of money late on especially given the horse was off the track for over 300 days, I'd say that was a sizable punt.

Unanimous on Sunday who was heavily backed too but wasn't good enough.
