Irish Presidency

He says he has a simple message. It is about positivity. I hate people like that.

You will love me. My message always includes the words "shit creek" and "paddle". I teach business studies to first years, went in yesterday and told them we would soon all be living in ditches again, we are focked.

I'd give her one out of spite. Time to pay out on MrD Higgins. Not a chance he can be beat from here. 4/9 is buying money.

Anyone know what Dana was on about? Given the amount of people who seem to know and the lack of a credible leak it must be a real doozy.

It has to be the unthinkable by a relative, either caught up in an allegation or has a conviction in the past on the same line. Probably in the US.

She really should have the cop on to pull out. Way out of her depth, last in the polls, and now this. Get a grip, pull out.

And besides that, Nobody listens to Dana. You'd want to be mad to listen to Dana. I heard from a good source that the only person that actually listens to Dana is Fr Bigley, and he lives in a home.

The biggest arseholes in the whole campaign are the media. Papers and TV. After all the shit this Country has gone through all we get is one petty bullshit story after another . Why don't some of them get involved in some real journalism and hang some of the fuckers who have ruined this Country rather than chasing after these people who are involved in this non event.

Revelations today that Gallagher is broke like the rest of us probably won't hurt his chances... €5,000 per series for Dragons Den is a joke! With his last two P60's it's a wonder he can dress himself never mind invest in a new idea!

Who have the people of this small nation become - everybody wants a say in what everyone else earns!! It's like you are expected to tape a copy of your p60 to your forehead walking around.

I thought Miriam o Callaghan was a disgrace last night-where were the hard questions when the country was being ruined by her friends in FF.

I'm no fan of Mr McGuinness, quite the opposite, but Miriam was obsessed with giving everybody equal time. McGuinness spent most of his time denying that he was a murderer while others were able to spend at least some of their time putting a positive speil on their candidacy. In a bizarre way I actually think that kind of obvious inequity is likely to help his campaign.

There is a hint of Marmite about McGuinness. You either love/hate. I'm pretty sure that when he decided to run people either thought yes or no based on his past and anything he said during the campaign wouldn't change the voter mindset

Probably true, but it might get a couple of wishy-washy sympathisers out the door to vote rather than sit at home.

The Dana story is on the Irish Central website - better not post a link.

Nasty. If that's a fabrication somebody should go to jail.

The line of questioning on McGuinness is tiresome. Seems there is a competition between interviewers to see who can ask him the most bizarre question. We all know what he is. If only they where that ruthless questioning the people who actually run this Country.

Would certainly help me decide which women are worth chatting to in bars :)

The rule used to be ask how much Road Frontage she had (i.e. Land), but now its more important to ask how many head of cattle she has, or her old man. Pay particular attention to daughters who are an only child and has elderly frail parents. With stairs.....:ninja:
