Can we make a rule that you cannot use initials/abbreviations/cosy nicknames when referring to a horse?
Or indeed indicate a preference for a 'Gordon yoke' et al in the last?

It only takes a couple of extra seconds to write a name, with the exception, of course, of the most recent winner of the Gold Cup.

I skip reading threads because I couldn't be arsed trying to workout who Pumkin's 2nd choice is in the 2.59 at Exeter.
