Not for me. Great horse under crooked connections.

They’ve made a horlix of his season.

And that fall just tops it off, hope the horse is okay cause he’ll be whatever price you want next year. He’s done for this season sadly
 
Sad to see last year's GC winner run like that and take a heavy fall to boot. He doesn't deserve that.

Good to see F2F back to form and it was a very good win although I sat there watching thinking - well this race has been organised by the yard. It looked for a long way that GDC was the intended winner with GW sitting swinging off the pace (yes F2F was going equally well). But winner allowed to move up to take on leaders whereas GW paused. I would have liked to have seen him not giving the winner a head start.
 
The GC is a completely different test. I'd be afraid of F2F who would probably be fav if he's supplemented but I'd have no qualms opposing him. I can't believe Willie was banging on about the race putting GDC right for Cheltenham - get Paul on GW.

It's run first time out takes some forgiving as does his beginner chase defeat at Galway back in August. Hoping that first time out was just blowing the cobwebs off. That was only its 8th start over hurdles its won 2 of them and has a couple of other bits and bobs which make its mark of 130 look workable. A couple of length defeat to Potters cross at Cheltenham last November. A 3 mile hurdle at Limerick trying to give weight to Big westerner and Mozzies sister also having Fleur in the park in behind that day. Then was still in contention when falling 3 out in a Haydock pertemps qualifier which produced the winner and the fifth of the Pertemps final itself and was running off 7lb higher than it will be on Saturday. First time headgear applied the weekend. If that first run of the season was no more than just a run round or if the headgear revitalises him to anywhere near any of those 3 runs then he makes his price look like a complete joke.

Was beaten the length of a few football pitches so no real pride in it as i made a right horlicks of the bet getting 40's when there was 80's available to 6 places this morning. But he did snaffle sixth so i'm happy to get paid even if it is with my tail between my legs. Lucky i couldnt get on at the time with the bigger priced 5 place bookmakers or wouldve been left empty handed. Hope some got on to 6 places at the giant prices this morning.

Not sure whether he (and Gaelic Warrior) go to the Gold Cup, but that Ryanair field is going to be very thin. 2 places max on the day I'd expect, if only I fancied one at a big price now.

Willie made no secret in an interview with Gary O'Brien that the Gold Cup is the Gold Cup. It's the race he wants to win. Fact To File is so similar to Florida Pearl.

So Charismatic Kid was rumoured to be the next New Kid on the Block and all I was watching was Broadway Ted swinging along and I did wonder if he was actually going to be allowed to win! He's very nice and is out of a very decent mare in Morning Run. Goes straight into my notebook
