WOW. I am fairly tired but still so happy. I just spent 2 hours with Matilda asleep in my arms at the hospital. It is easily the happiest 2 hours of my life. A change of clothes and some food then out again.

Mother and baby are both doing well and they are grateful for the good wishes from all on here. 5.56 James? Some of us had been up all night!

Like we needed a running commentary, 5cm dilated etc, when I see him I'm gonna slap him for waking me up

So long as when you see me you bring a present! And you wanted to hear about the baby, don't try and convince anyone the opposite.

She is staying an extra night in hospital because her blood sugar is not rising but all is well and I get to enjoy my final night of peace for 18 years.

DO, Rooster Booster is second!!

All the best with fatherhood Paul. It's the proudest moment of your life.

Well wishes to your family.

That's it - racing life is finished, and it'll be baby-gros, walkers, first laugh, first crawl, first poo in the bath from now on! :D

PDJ if you dont come up with photos soon the women on this forum will implode. You dont have to include a copy of todays newspaper.

I am informed that the Jones laptop is up the creek again but Matilda and Lyndy are home and as far as I can tell Paul is using his paternity leave to watch the cricket ! :D

They were happily watching House last night with Matilda in the Moses basket next to them, sounds like they were settling in nicely for the first night at home

Many Congrats Paul et al. New life is always great news..

ps..DO....Group 1 stuff

Steady on, Paul. I did the same thing just after my daughter was born but Rooster Booster made me happier

Now come on, Uncle Goober, no need to hide your feminine side - you KNOW you want to see the UK's Prime Minister of 2047 as a wee babby...
