Leopardstown & Limerick Christmas meetings

Kilcruit, the new Don Poli.

(ps.. I can't find the TV topic. The week can't go by without noting the opening conversation on RTE on Sunday. Jane Mangan: "So Barry, who would you most like to be throwing your leg over today?" Cue the longest 2 seconds in telly history when Geraghty veered between total collapse and naming a horse. Lucky he went down the horse option.)

Who would you pick yourself?

Kil Mutt.

It's top class form, granted, and Kemboy is good here and in this race but we know his level and the finish here was tight between three, which usually means none is a superstar. That's all I meant.
Interestingly, Kemboy has been given an RPR of 172 for yesterday compared with 168 a year ago.

Point taken. My clumsy point is that he'll need 6 miles to be seen at his best.

Kilcruit is a big, scopey individual. As well as probably needing a trip, my immediate post-race thought was that he might also need fences before we see the best of him. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they thought about a switch sooner rather than later.
