The wonderful thing about getting so close to this legend of a horse, was to see the owners! - very ordinary people, nothing grand or remotely pretentious about them - they got really lucky with this horse and trainer, and were almost speechless with joy today. It was SOOOOO heart-warming to watch.
Well done to Cantoris and all the team: this horse has been superbly looked after and has come back from injury to reign again on his native turf. Who could ever wish for more? The horse looked pretty damn pleased with himself too LOL
