Unfair colin but it is the default position of the far left. Not exclusively so but free thinking is not something associated with that sect is it?

Israel can be criticised on many points . Of course it can but the overall issue is the seeming obsession many have with the state. As I've said before, you have to ask why

corbyns constituency blog had 140 entries on Islington and 149 on Israel. I mean really?

and has been the case on this forum (although in fairness none in today's thread) some get seriously animated about the jewish state but haven't a single opinion on any other foreign issue whatsoever. None at all.
