Lecky Watson's vocation in life has always been to be a chaser and today's run was a very positive start to that phase of his career. He didn't fight his rider, was foot perfect when the race warmed up and had plenty left to see off Slade Steel's challenge up the straight.

Lecky Watson was a promising hurdler who always seemed would be better suited by fences

From the last, it rode like a good beginners

Slade may need it soft but a very disappointing start to fencing

I was watching unbridled with Matt Chapman and Paddy Brennan...got to be the best racing show out there...Paddy is very sweet on the Arkle chances of L'EAU DU SUD
