Novice Chasers 24-25

I'd imagine they've gone too fast early in the Desert Orchid which will have produced an overall slower time . Not crabbing what Sir gino has done because he looks absolutely top class but doubt the time comparison is anything more than a more economically run race. I'd be surprised if that's not the case but I'd be nicely surprised.

166+

Putting his debut ahead of sprinter and altior
Sprinter wasn't taking on anything remotely as good as Ballyburn so you can't compare.
Sprinter won the Arkle of 169 and wasn't raised until he won the Tingle Creek to 179...despite the fact his Arkle win over Cue Card was better. Sir Gino wins again he'll probably be given a 169 but he will still have a mountain to climb to reach the heights Sprinter Sacre did.

That was very nice from Ile Atlantique who never looked in trouble at any stage. Jumped far better than the fav, Inthepocket and ran out a classy winner.

I like him but have the memories of him fading out over hurdles

He could be another casualty of the mid distance novice disappearing but will be some races for him here or Aintree

Do not see him as sharp enough for 2m unless soft underneath
