I think Bar is right to be honest.

310-329 is an awkward range. You absolutely need Florida to fall for Obama as well as one of Colorado or Virginia (or both).

It isn't out of the question by any means; you're basically taking 11/2 about Obama running the table. I think there is more chance of that happening than it going the other extreme and Romney pulling it back enough to take down Obama.

It's telling how much all of the models have come together in the last few days. HuffPost, Talking Points, the NY Times one, and the three or four commerical ones I have seen in the last two days have all ranged between 89-92/3% chance of an Obama win.

You think that a wafer thin majority over a representitive of a shamboic party who has had to flip around too much to get the nomination is an achievement ? Obama is a lightwieght who has been sussed by the people who he actualluy governs rather than wishy washy old europe.

I dont think either candiate is up to much but to see this as some sort of triumph is well wide of mark. On balance i would tend towards ob ama because of the social issues that might well filter through a romney adminstration but i would back romney as a better manager and deal maker (something we underestimate here with our whipped through majorities)

Oh and what shall we say ab out obamas aPpearance ?

Branding China a currency-manipulator before the outcome of the election, was not the mark of a "better" anything. Indeed, they were the remarks of someone wholly ill-equipped to 'manage' US foreign-policy, and destined to spend a lot more time 'building fences' than 'making deals'.

I find the sneering at romeny amomgst the smug europeans pathetic frnakly. His credentials are way ahead of obamas at same stagem to run a liberla state as a republican as successfully as he did is impressive and of course theres the business acumen which is rightly not sneered at over there
