Always amazes me how different the courses look - I've seen Irish gaff tracks with wider straights than Doncaster back then!
 
I was watching Remittance Man the other night. Had forgotten how amazing he was. What happened to him? Would like to think he and his sheep had a long and happy retirement together.
 
I keep watching Dayjur at Belmont Park, Mtoto's Arc and Dancing Brave in the Derby. One of them will get there one day!

I know Azertyuiop wasn't right this day and shouldn't have been running but Well Chief was still a really impressive winner. This was the end of an amazing season of 2m chasing between Moscow Flyer, Azertyuiop & Well Chief. The ratings say Master Minded is better than all three but I still think they are the best 2m chasers that I've seen. It's a shame injury pretty much ruined Well Chief's career after this win.
