i like to work out who is misinformed though..so i read all the posts..then make my mind up...and i don't have to agree/back up people just because i've met them away from the forum:)..so i am pretty impartial..works for me anyway

When I need my life running by you I'll let you know. For now though I'll stick to posting my opinion on things that are relevant to that particular thread. You must be a Sun reader if you consider that an essay.

Personally your one line put downs don't bother me, but I can only imagine what new members must think when they see you belittling those that you consider inferior in their knowledge of racing. It must certainly make them think twice about daring to voice an opinion of any sort.

is it worth it though?..all that traipsing round....and you might gain nowt...i'd rather pick a few winners and stay warm with a Jack daniels tbh..whatever turns people on i suppose

Im not saying i'd do it and its not something you could do many times but under the right circumstances there are bound to be people who do it.

What relevance are Betfred Rules to this PP offer? Am I missing something?

I got a 4 figure sum out of Menorah on a series of bets that could not lose.When Sprinter Sacre won it took me 3 days to collect the losing dockets.One of my friends has his wife,father and brother on the payroll.
Why would you turn down free money.
 
A on my Mum's grave I did it mate with friends.........I'm not going to sit and write the whole story other than to say it was over 20 years ago and by 11am every bookie in Scotland knew what was going on and started to refuse bets on it

I'd say so

Max refund EUR/GBP 50 per customer per race. Cover it does it not......Price manipulation by betting in different shops or in this case breaking that rule for financial gain it makes not a bit of difference

i'm merely pointing out fact that your talking shite about this subject. That's not my opinion it's fact. If I wasn't on an iPhone Id quote the parts of your post that are the work if Walter Mitty.
 
I've seen people brag about not getting caught out in the past..and then it happens. I worked with a guy once who boasted he never bought train tickets...a fortnight later he rang his sister to ask if she could pick him up from Loughborough..where he'd been kicked off the train..for not paying.

i don't really think this sort of thing is shrewd..its just chancing it..which is fair enough..but thats all it is..the ability to brag afterwards how much has been gained..i'm too old to get impressed by it tbh

Bookmakers can make an example of customer taking the **** out of an offer but if you think any firm is going to police a £50 offer on two massive turnover races one of the busiest days of the year you are on drugs. I remember for the Sprinter Sacre offer getting €2k on 10 mins before the race on the field and collecting the refunds in the one shop. We sent differebt people down from the pub. If you think that can be policed than you suffer from paranoia.
