I know nowt about baby foods, but could these concoctions be the reason why so many kids react so violently to veggies later on? Broccoli and turnip, swede and sprout - no wonder so many only want beans and chips. (Now, that'd be a rather tasty puree... ) :D

Perhaps if you rubbed some of the puree on baby's head her hair might start to grow.

Just trying to be helpful :P

:( Total trauma now!

"Now, Miss Griffin, we have a lovely new vegetable-based shampoo in the salon, it's made fr... Miss Griffin... Miss Griffin?" :o

Then there's always the worry that if I rub too much carrot into her head the hair will grow back carrot coloured! Very light and barely there suits us just fine at the moment :)

I try to keep her in the shade as much as possible and she does have rather a fetching pink hat. She doesn't wear it as often as I would like her to because it makes her cry. Like her sisters, she gets factor 50 slapped on her every morning and so far she hasn't been burnt.

Thought I'd share some of the photos I took of Georgia this morning. I managed to capture the moment that she pulled herself up for the first time too, only as far as onto her knees but no doubt it'll be to her feet soon. She's eight and a half months old now and this week for the first time ever slept through the night :D I was starting to think she never would

She's got quite a bit of hair now, although it's very light blonde. It's much lighter than her sisters hair and unlike their bright blue eyes hers are a more wishy washy bluey grey colour.

At her eight month check up last week she weighed in at a weedy 16 lbs 10 ozs, despite eating me out of house and home. Her favourite food is cheese and ice cream, but not both together obviously.

She is absolutely gorgeous, Griffin. She really has the prettiest eyes.

Keep posting the photos :)

It was Georgias first birthday yesterday  The past year has just flown by and she's not a little baby anymore but a walking, talking toddler with a mind of her own :luv: She's not too keen on walking and only takes a few steps before plopping to her knees and crawling everywhere because crawling gets her there quicker. But we bought her her first pair of shoes at the weekend and she's very proud of them. She got her first tooth just over a month ago and last week she got another one. Temperament wise she's very similar to Molly but she talks non-stop just like Emily  As a birthday treat we took all the girls to Cotswold Wildlife Park on Saturday which Georgia loved. She adores animals so she thought it was fab. She was particularly impressed with the penguins, merecats and a rabbit!

Lots of love
