Royal Ascot Day 5

Hard to know. Doesn't look like much between them. Await The Dawn looks like he might have more improvement in him than SNA, but he needs to do it in a Group 1 now.

Star Witness looked to have made the winning move, the last half furlong was too much for him on the soft going.

Star Witness looks like a horrid bridle horse to me.

Delighted I joined in with the Amico Fritz club.... This meeting has gone downhill big time for me over the past two days after a good first 3 days.

This Modun looks a lovely horse and is from a great family. But IIRC the family don't like soft ground?

Never mind that - I was remembering that Islington didn't like it soft, but Greek Dance and Mountain High were ok on it, and Patkai and Saptapadi never really had a chance on it.

Looked at his last race about ten times-even though he won easily in the e d he doesn't look to have much in the way of tactical pace-that could be punished around Ascot.
