Sat nav for very old car…

I once got irritated with mine and said “for God’s sake, shut up”. To my surprise she said “Alright, I will” in a petulant voice.

Forgot to say I haven’t got a satnav

I turned off the bossy voice in my satnav, the maps and graphics do a good enough job without it. I’d consider putting it back on if it started doing the various accents of the places the car is passing through.

The voice on my iPhone is very like guy who read the news on the Terry Wogan radio programme on BBC Radio 2, Alan Dedicote (or something like that). A reassuring voice, I have to say, unlike the one in my car which is a gritty for a female voice and I don't like it.

You can change to all sorts of different voices. I put a Santa one on for Christmas.
