I'm pretty sure IS meant in relation to Peter Naugton's genius Scoop6 win.

I can think of plenty of ways to describe him - 'hero' is a million.....

There was a chap who played in the Irish rugby world cup team called Wayne Kerr - would that be quite close?

As I mentioned on another thread, I have a feeling that the bonus-hunters may have hedged their position by backing the rags on Betfair to ensure they had the winner covered.

I hope so anyway (even though, in general, I disaprove of nancy-boy-style hedging!).

You would have to be too-nancy-to-function if you felt the need to hedge a free bet on half the field :lol: would it even be hedging if you your bet on the other eight was costing you nothing ?

No hedging from me, but Mounty had a decent bet on the winner which left him feeling vaguely gutted; anyone searching the TH archives for my views on Madison du Berlais will understand how gutted I should be. Actually I'm quite chipper, all things considered.
