On the eve of Punchestown, here is the top 20 leader board for the Winter Prize, which is based on points gained for respective finishing positions in the two parts of the Ante Post competition and the Ten To Follow. The first figure after a player's name is their score in the Most Valuable Portfolio (MVP) part of the Ante Post competition and the second figure is their score in the main part of that competition (AP). The third figure is their current score in the Ten To Follow (TTF). Placings in the AP and TTF are given double points. The fourth figure is the total score, and the lowest total wins.
After finishing first in both parts of the Ante Post competition it is not surprising that viking should be the overall leader, but Ivantheterrible is not so far behind.

Viking 1 2 24 27
Ivantheterrible 8 14 8 30
Perpetual 15 6 14 35
Maruco 18 4 16 38
Marble 12 24 4 40
trudij 13 8 20 41
edgt 2 30 12 44
Grey 7 30 10 47
archie 6 28 16 50
chroniclandlord 5 26 22 53
wilsonl 11 12 32 55
frontrunner 4 22 30 56
swedish chef 21 18 18 57
Diamond Geezer 22 30 6 58
Desperate Dan 14 10 40 64
granger 10 30 26 66
Len Madeiros 9 20 38 67
Double J 20 16 34 70
Euronymous 3 30 44 77

Thanks to Delta Work Ivantheterrible has moved up a couple of places, but Viking also has this horse, so there's no change at the top of the Winter Prize competition.

Just curious Art, do you use the best scoring team for each member or all three teams for your calculations ?

I just take the highest scoring teams into account, Roger, and only from people who are entered in both the Ante Post and the Ten To Follow competitions.

In the Winter Prize rankings Viking is still in front on 23 points, Ivantheterrible on 28, Perpetual on 29.

Today's Punchestown Champion Hurdle, with its potential 50 points in the TTF might be the deciding race for the Winter Prize. Ivantheterrible has Buveur D'Air, but so does Viking, so a win for Boover should see Viking home.

On the other hand, if Supasundae were to win, Perpetual would move up a couple of places in the TTF table. That combined with Viking losing a place or two would change things. A win for Apples Jade could also change the outcome if it caused a bigger slippage in the rankings for Viking than for Perpetual.

Bonjers has a healthy lead in the TTF race.
