The Missing Horses Thread

Realmont is still at McCain's, IS. He was in this year's stable tour as well. He was entered all over the place in November, just before the snow hit, and was declared to run at Uttoxeter but the meeting was lost. He hasn't been entered since.

As for Tanerko Emery, I'm intrigued too. I asked Nicholls on Twitter but no reply.

Thanks Simon - really excited about Realmont being over.

Also be good to see the Gollings bumper horse at Fakenham tomorrow - All That Remains. Beat a horse that's now with Andy Hobbs at Castletown-Geoghan and the Hobbs horse (Over The Phone) romped a restricted point at Chaddesley Corbett in a very fast time a couple of weeks ago.

Think he's a nice horse, IS, although tomorrow's trip maybe a little sharp for him, will be interesting to watch. House Rules is another bought at that sale that could be smart. Laterly should win tomorrow really, too.

Thanks - thought if anything the track would be on the sharp side for him but it's a small enough field. Will keep an eye out for House Rules - ran well on his first couple of starts over hurdles :)

Did that very nicely in the end - idled a bit in front but was always holding them off IMO.

Laterly left his back legs in the hurdle or could have been a very nice double for the yard Simon.

Indeed, I thought he'd have won, and backed him, but didn't back the other one of course. I presume that was the fall which meant Tom Scu couldn't ride for the rest of the day?

Tanerko Emery - featured in Nicholls stabletour last year (2nd Prix Pride of Kildare 2009) but not run for him.

Apparently Tanerko Emery at Richard Rowe's - owned by Andy Stewart. Can't quite believe it.

Can anyone chase down any news on Native Clan, ALT Moore's chaser who chased home Psycho in a chase at Fairyhouse last season? I backed him that day when chasing my losses after foolishly backing Head of the Posse on Irish Grand National Day.

And the winner of the rinky dink bumper on the same card Last Instalment looked very good that day, but hasn't been seen since.

Yes, nice, isn't it? Irish Stamp has cornered the market in pointing updates, and a few days ago I was delighted to see Corky was pointing, along with so many other previous chasing stalwarts, like THE OUTLIER. I wish Weatherbys had an addendum to its under-Rules database, showing which leave it to go pointing, rather than just disappear without trace, until someone finds them. I know we can look at PtP sites, but it'd be much easier (as there are so many) to see a note that they'd gone to such-and-such Point after their last Rules race.

Are you going IS? I've been to Thorpe Lodge a couple of times and enjoyed it on both occasions - good PTPing, decent crowds and it's nice to see some 'old friends.'

Sadly won't be at Thorpe but have a few friends going (mainly to back one in the finale I think).

From what I've been told it's a nice course and one I hope to visit at some point - would probably have gone to Cottenham myself as it's the same day and has Kicks For Free going for a hatrick of Ladies wins under Angela Rucker on the card.
