I'm driving down from Dublin on Thursday to watch Donkey Years win the Thyestes. If anybody needs a warm seat and a lift home again please let me know and I'll meet you somewhere.

Good week for Colin Farrell and lookalikes.

Had a small ew on Gabbys Cross (6pl) as he ran a sound race latest, and ought to improve for softer ground.

Well done, Colm. We now know why you renewed your subscription! :)

Small each way on Dunboyne for me. Clearly has his quirks but looks talented on his day.

Thanks for all the kind words. This board is the most discernable collection of racing brains I know of - so if I'm not getting nutted here I'll take it as a grave complement.

Marb: You guided me to Dunboyne and I had him a 42s. Great spot, unlucky.

Gowran Park free entry Red Mills day Feb 17th.
Announced on RTE today; get your tickets online .
There was I thinking Savills day Leopardstown free tea/coffee for racegoers was decent, which it was.
More of these gestures will keep people racing.
Hats off to all.

The buzz at the track for a Thursday was immense, even with a few dodgy, uncompetitive races.

Anybody who thinks Sir G can win at Cheltenham jumping like that has a different opinion to me. Teahupoo needs heavy, silly price for SH at 2/1.

Carefully selected will win a GN for Achill Island.
