What are you backing Today? Part 2

This system like a number of my previous ones had survived three weeks without a hitch, but the last 2 days 😢. Has it been cursed by York, even though I have not had any selections from their 😕. To be fair selections have dried up everywhere. But I have checked Saturday, and it looks like being a busy day.

Kiwano does appear to have lost his form abroad, but he's had a nice break, and had some back form for his previous trainer, David Simcock, when winning a class two at Lingfield. He's been hit and miss for George Baker, but did pop up at 66/1 last year, when showing a nice turn of foot coming from off the pace. I see his trainer's in good form recently, having another winner today, after two winners last week, so I'll take a chance Kiwano can bounce back. He does look nicely handicapped on his best form.
I'll give him another chance in Newmarket's 4.35 tomorrow.

I have Notable Speech 2.35Nb as a short runner from last season.
With no great pace predicted,Ireckon he's the bet at the currrent 4/1

James Owen who did me a favour with Delicacy yesterday sends the one runner to Thirsk today:
HALLELUJAH U
in the 1m 4f handicap at 3:20.
On its last start finished a running on 4th but only 3 lengths behind Merchant who was a easy winner at York on Thursday.
Dropped a pound should appreciate the extra two furlongs but unfortunately 3/1 best odds.

Just watching "Tipping Tom" and dammit he has gone for one of my hunches at Newmarket in Arabian Leopard (1.40) - I was already thinking Spencer might have a good day today (as he doesn't ride my cliff horse Ancient Rome at Newbury suspect he is heading to Royal Ascot again for me) so stuck a little acca on three of his mounts (City of York & Kentucky River). Watching Arabian Leopard's last run does encourage me and he's been backed.
He's also gone for Notable Speech so maybe he's better than I gave him credit for!

Never in doubt eh? ((:)

After watching Race For The Crown I'm a bit more interested in the Preakness Stakes.

Good luck to Saffie Osborne, who rides for her father Jamie, on Heart Of Honor.

Hopefully this is one for the Brits.

An each way chance it seems.
