What are you backing Today? Part 2

Ludlow 3.30 Masked Dance - The front two in the betting are too short I reckon, and I don't believe this is a two horse race. I think Masked Dance is a fair old price and she can win, provided she handles the slightly longer trip, which looking at her prior runs, I think she will.

Oh mate you've made me have a look at that race. If the ground isn't that soft I might have to back Destroytheevidence.
Yeah, I had a good look at him and agree that the ground wants to be near good, I think. It's funny how the ground conditions can be so vital. Only the trainers and jocks walking the course will know how the official going of "G//sft" will be for their horses.

I suppose, in light of this, it should be 'no bet' but I've long-since thought that his breeding screams 3m, 3m+ so it must be done.

As Ian has pointed out on many occasions, it's important to know the nuances of these going descriptions, if you know what I mean. He's not wrong, is he.

I always looked at Muss as a course which, as a rule, drained better than most & I think Ludlow is similar. Perhaps I'm wrong but I'm happy to be corrected

He's not but I've never been a ground punter, didn't really care.

What a good f$%^ing race that was. Hunter Legend and Destroy both travelled awful but I never had Neon Moon down as a three miler so wasn't without hope. Didn't account for Ballycamus.
