As mentioned before am on Hoof It Antepost for the Wokingham with a saver on Pastoral Player. Given the ground I have some concerns and will therefore back Fahsta who will handle conditions though the draw is dictating that it is not a maximum bet.

Said on today's fancy passion for gold is criminally overpriced having my biggest bet of the year each way.

2.30 Bling King / Esentepe / Falls Of Lorca
3.05 Calavados Blues
3.45 Delegator, surely but sunk by rain & SbS the poor man. SO, Dalghar, then.
4.25 Mac's Power and Swilly Ferry - SF has been nagging me! :) no reason whatsoever but then I haven't given any either, so this one is back at me!
5.99 Averroes
5.35 Font

and may you all have a very nice day indeed. Better on TV than in the mud.

I can't oppose Await Till Dawn, but I've followed Kauto by backing Passion For Gold without, and paired them in a forecast.

there are quite a few horses in the hardwicke that will go on this ground..Await the Dawn has won maiden on it..but i could see anyone of 4 or 5 beating him purely on soft ground ratings..i'll just lay him i think

good luck Passion backesr

No doubt she was on the best horse, but that was a very cool ride by Samantha Bell at Down Royal just now.

She missed the break but didn't get flustered. She sits extremely well on a horse but I've seen her in a finish and you can tell she is a 10lb claimer. But she looks like a pro for 90% of the race and if you have a steering job, she's well worth the 10lbs, down to 7lbs now I'd say.

Gowran 3:05 Sylvan Approach e/way 10/1 -- I keep getting drawn to this horse whose PTP 3 years ago has worked out well and whose form over C/D &Going at this meeting last year looks solid. He was given an easy introduction after nearly a year off over 3 miles at Cork and back down to 20f at a track where the going and distance will suit he could run a big race. The only thing that puts me off is the fact he's still running in a maiden rather than a h'cap, he also has the assistance of a 7lb claimer.

Anyone have contacts Conor O'Dwyer yard?

I see Paddy Power aren't taking any chances at 7/1. I'll wait and watch the markets to see if there's any confidence though.

My daughters are taking to a restaurant tonight for Father's Day - Dads paying though but that will take care of the bill :D

Good man, Chef, it's nice when a horse you've been watching out for delivers for you.

Good man SC -you understand the inner workings of the o Dwyer stable-you have the game cracked.

Windsor 6:40 Beauchamp Xiara 20/1 e/way

Since this 10f fillies h'cap, traditional opener on the card was changed to 3yo+ three years ago older horses have dominated winning all three, despite, apart from 2009 there being a majority of 3yo runners. 2009/10 saw the older fillies fill the first 3 places. Although all three runnings were on good & g/firm, the official going is g/soft but it's a drying day with no forecast rain and they will be racing on fresh ground being the first race. On that note On Khee(4yo) / H Morrison has halved in price from 12/1 to 6/1 but the one that catches my eye is Beachamp Xiara 20/1.

Now trained by mutiple champion trainer in Sweden, Hans Adielsson who was brought over to this country by fellow Swede and owner Erik Penser to train the majority of his horses. He's yet to get off the mark but imo opinion this may be his best chance yet.

Beachamp Xiara finished 2nd in this race last year at 20/1 off a mark of 66 btn 1L. She has had 3 runs at Windsor over this distance finishing 2nd & 3rd on the other two occasions btn 3/4L off 69 & 1 1/4L off 71. She races tonight off a mark of 64 with the able assistance of Jimmy Fortune in the saddle.

As I've pointed out my only worry would be soft ground but at 20/1 for a Filly who cleary loves this track and distance and looks on a very fair h'cap mark it has to be an e/way bet for me. Good luck if you play.

Someone knows something that I don't know! Well, many people in all prob.

What is Veroon (Carlisle, 3.35) doing at 28/1 Betfair?
