Is there any sources for records or any horses winning a race that they had won last year or previously. Caught Max Vega on Saturday at a lovely 22/1. Was it Not So Sleepy a week ago that did it ?

Elvis Mail at Kelso on Sunday. I follow the Kinneston runners but did I back him (?)..I usually back Max Vega, too. Maybe the system only works if I ignore my cliff horses!

Not So Sleepy won Saturday 21st September 10/1. I am sure there will be others in between.

I think it makes perfect sense to give close consideration to any horse attempting a repeat win in a race, especially if it's a handicap and they're back down to a similar mark. It's often by design.

Didn't Russian Winter win the same race at Ayr something like five years in a row?

I don't know how accurate this info is but there are a few familiar names on it:
