Same as mainland British viewers with RTE coverage of Irish racing?

Nevison stood in the betting ring on RUK is utterley pointless and about 10 years too late. Meanwhile I think Tony Calvin is okay, unlike Nevison he understands betting markets and makes a useful contribution.

    The Rules Need Changing

Not a factor if reckless or dangerous riding is involved grey, in the stewards opinion of course. The horse will be disqualified even if it wins hard held by 20 lengths.

    The Rules Need Changing

Reckless or dangerous riding would be subject to disqualification, it would be irrelevant where the other horse finished or whether the result was not affected.

    The Rules Need Changing

What is the alternative? Change some results and not change others for similar offences? How would that be better, there would be no consistency. In any event there have been results changed this year, so it's wrong to say you can't lose a race here. Can't see on our rules can be improved, if...

    TV coverage

For a specialist horse racing channel charging a subscription I find RUK very disappointing. 2 quality meetings on Friday with races well spaced out and hardly a horse sighted in the paddock or going to post all afternoon. Unfortunately that's par for the course the vast majority of the time...

    Champions Day

Surprised they ran Gleneagles on the ground especially with there being only a fortnight to the Breeders Cup. Wouldn't fancy any horse there who ran at Ascot. Then again, why they didn't run in the Sussex remains a mystery.

Phil Smith's Handicapping Of The National

Where is Phil Smith's evidence and facts that high weights need an allowance in the National? He hasn't got any and I feel it's just done to enable him to get all the horses in the handicap. How can Many Clouds only be entitled to only a 5lb rise in the handicap after his win after having 5lb...

    What a joke

Very poor from the BHA, they knew 2 days ago Ffos Las was off so could have changed Carlisle's times to 10 minutes after Navan and no clashes. Ironically they've been delaying Carlisle for Limerick to finish only for it to clash with Navan. Idiots!

    Statto from Fantasy Football

Yeah, I was surprised to see him taking bets on RUK's coverage when Nevison (ex Bodugi) was wandering through the ring and he usually sits behind Giggsy at Old Trafford. He's also on one of those dreadful 666bet ads with Redknapp & the coloured chap with a perm, didn't recognise him at first...

The road to the 2015 County Hurdle

I'm not convinced we need 4 less runners in the Fred Winter just because they are 4 year olds.

Banks hasn't been off the Morning Line since, what an annoying **** and poor judge to boot.

    The Young Master

I agree with this but what is the reasoning for the rule in the first place? Why is it okay to run in a G3 handicap but not a G2 or G1 on your third run? Kauto Star ran in the Haldon Gold Cup on his 3rd run but of course wasn't a novice, he wasn't any more experienced or had anymore form for...

    Arse Cup

The RUK editor/director today who decided to go split screen after the last fence in the Cheltenham 2.35 with the first 100yds of the mile and a half claimer at Catterick. Brings back memories of when they went split screen during the climax of The Ebor one year with the start of a long...

    Betting Shops

Could that be a case of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted though? Used to be one Ladbrokes in a little precinct near me for as long as I can remember, now there are 2 Ladbrokes and 1 Corals all within a few doors of each other.
