Copying Gal's idea... :p

Special Duty looks tough to beat in my personal opinion. Morny form and Cheveley Park procession look far and beyond her rivals.

Special Duty - if she gets to the race fit and well she'll win. If not then it's looking very open at this stage.

Lillie Langtry would be a big winner for me antepost but I would imagine she will not be ready for it or will not be at her peak after her injury in the Breeders Cup.

Not the 1000 Guineas but You'll Be Mine has been cut across the boards for the Oaks today. Cannot imagine it is anything she has been doing at home at this stage and I am convinced she is a filly that has inherited much of her mothers ability but temperment as well. I'd take Cabaret and the fascinating Remember When ahead of her from the same yard.

I've had her backed since her second start for the oaks then she ran a good race in the Meon Valley dam won the oaks it's going to be tough to pick the no.1 out of O'briens but she would be my one.I wouldn't take Caberets run in France as anything to go by

I wouldn't want to say as of yet. Wait till the trials happen at Newmarket then the market will become so much clearer.

Good to see that Rouget has entered Joanna in this - ex-Italian and was bought by Sheikh Hamdan last season, impressed with her run at Deauville in August and her placing in the Marcel Boussac :)

Lillie Langtry would be a big winner for me antepost but I would imagine she will not be ready for it or will not be at her peak after her injury in the Breeders Cup.

Her prospects have improved somewhat - my antepost vouchers live on for a bit more.

Good for you.

When she ran badly, I knew the Breeders Cup was going to be a financial disaster!

Do they plan to bring the fillies to the gallops this year? I think it was only the colts last year?

Special Duty into 11/4 now. I planned topping up after the Festival but not at that price.

Likewise and I'm not on at all yet, I sort of hope she gets beat in the trial at Maisons-Laffite and something comes out of the Nell-Gwyn which will get hugely overhyped like Fantasia to bump the prices around.

Disappointed there is no Cabaret. Devoted To You needs it soft, Famous not good enough and You'll Be Mine has trip and temperment concerns for me...

Our most likely runners for the Stanjames.com 1000 guineas at Newmarket on Sunday 2nd May will hopefully come from the following fillies;
Famous
Devoted To You
You'll Be Mine"
Aidan O Brien.
