I agree somewhat. Big line next week of the horse was lame, we tried to get work into him but we can’t take the risk, horse will be fine for Punchestown.

Not sure how people are taking Mullins line as a positive tbh. ‘Fine’ isn’t what Id want to be hearing
 
I don’t think the high street ever went bigger than 9/2, DO, and I don’t think there was a great deal traded on the exchanges at massive odds either (22 highest match). Given the size of his staff, they might have got enough on each for a Mars Bar and 20 fags apiece! And it’s not like he is chucked-in anyway, given the quality of the opposition.

Seems like an awful lot of trouble to go to to ramp the price, for what are likely fairly meagre rewards.

Had they reported it and punters cashed out they would have been accused of putting people away.

They followed the same process of saying nothing with Allegorie De Vassy and it turned out to be serious. They were accused of putting people away.
 
suspect with enurgemene somebody has got wind of the stone bruise and then chinese whispers have took place and a select few have basically been told he's probably out for the festival and layed accordingly, for small beer.

hopefully he turns up a week on wednesday and i suspect he will.
 
You can still get between 4s and 5s on the machine.thats a good price surely.i dont back big so it doesnt really interest me.
It's a furlong shorter this time so he must have a chance of reversing the form with Shishkin.
 
Has every chance of reversing form with Shishkin anyway,imo.
Don't do A/P so I'll wait to see if he runs, and against what.

Hold on a second. Dave Yates reported that the mare was fine but with no direct quote. She wasn't fine, she was fucked.

That is abolute rubbish Slim. Mullins never makes his mind up until his horses have done their last piece of work
and he has to declare them.

The press around him like flies round shite asking question after question and he gives his opininion openly.
Like he did when he said he would ride Chacun Pour Soi everytime before Energumene.
Patrick backed that up by saying Willie loves the horse the other day.

Anything can happen between then and raceday and if he finds the horse doesn't tick all the boxes he might pull him out.
That he deosn't know until the time and much can depend on what others are doing that can cause him to switch a horse.

No one forces anyone to listen to him or to back AP so we can only blame ourselves if we get it wrong

That's Yates' problem.

Cheltenham trainer bingo is a high risk sport whether you're talking Mullins, De Bromhead, Elliott or Henderson but participation isn't mandatory.

Most punters will happily use undisclosed inside information to get an edge and the faux rage is about someone else getting there first rather than the morality of the action.

You claimed he was fucked next thing we know he is jumping 3 fences in public with Paul Townsend saying he was happy. Willie said he was fine so hopefully nothing untoward would show up in the morning.So unless you have a crystal ball or are sleeping in Energumene's box you're guessing and hoping he is fucked..personally I think your making a complete ass of yourself. One minute you are saying everything that comes out of the yard is a lie now you are trying to say what you have been told or know is the truth�� PR list for me please

I don't think it matters if he's fucked or in rude heath his chances of beating Shishkin must be extremely low,

I would go Ryanair because he has only one horse to beat wheras he has Shishkin and his own stable companion to beat in the Champion Chase.
 
Assuming he gets to the race, why would Energumene’s chances of beating Shishkin be “extremely low”? There was only a length between them at Ascot, the shorter trip might be in his favour, and he may improve for the track.

Granted, there a few ifs, buts and maybes there - and I personally think Shishkin will be hard to beat - but to dismiss Energumene’s chance as blithely as this is a bit daft, imo.
 
Apparently Shishkin is better going left handed, he made a couple of unforced errors last time and we already know he handles the hill.

Of the two I'd have to be on the side of Shishkin getting up the hill that we already know holds no feares fror him...

Willie did say he thought the odds were stacked against him reversing places plus he's telling Paul Townsend to ride Chacun Pour Soi

I wouldn't be throwing away your Ryanair betting slip for Energumene yet
 
There's little doubt that Energumene will stay better than Shishkin, despite their latest meeting, and no surprise should he run, and reverse the form. When did you learn to trust what Willie said?
 
Shishkin is bred to stay a lot further check it out.

Energumene is very one paced in comparison.

Shishkin gave him a start last time and still beat him...

I trust what Willie said about Chacun Pour Soi as it's common knowledge from several different sources.
