2022 Arc Thread

Just checked for my curiosity
Saint Crespin was the last Eclipse Stakes winner for Prince Aly Khan in 1959.
Aga had no winner since, with few enough attempts I imagine.
Must be on his bucket list.

Might be on his fuckit list...

La Petit Coco was good winner of the Pretty Polly yesterday and I'm really interested in her for the Arc.

She's quietly building up a very good record. Her beating of Love as a 3 year old reading particularly well. Already proven at a mile an half, and in soft ground. And I really like that she's been deliberately held back until now so she peaks for the big end of season races.

I nearly went in before the race yesterday at 50/1 but couldn't quite hit the button, but 33/1 available with Coral/Ladbrokes is much too big post race, and I've had a fair sized each way cut at her.

Proven on soft and the most talented. I think she just about wins whatever race she is put in. What is the alternative end of season target for 12f group1 fillies?

The fcuking race I backed her ante-post in last year - fillies and mares on Champions Day. Gosden pulled her at the decs stage and a reason never came to light.

Jeez, forgot. Thought that was 10f. (I think she is quick enough to win over 10f as well). She was a cert for that.

What Free Wind did to her rivals after Crowley's professional foul incident was uncanny.

The only worry I have is we are talking Group 3 opposition she destroyed and not Group 1 which is a huge gap.

Would be tempted at 16/1 for the Arc if I knew she would run but right now it's more about Rab Havlin's appeal
in the news than where they are heading with Free Wind

Al Hakeem 33/1 stablemate of Vadeni. Finished best of the lot into 4th in the Prix du jockey club.sent off 7/2 and vadenii was 8s.

Yes, she was pretty impressive in the Group2 Park Hill last season over 1m7f. I think she’ll feature in top races, but quite what isn’t obvious.

[h=2]Won the Guillaume d'Ornano today. The home team seem to have chances this year with this colt and Onesto.[/h]

The massive investment and continuous improvement of the breed in Japan leads me to believe Titleholder will win this years renewal. They have had winners at all the major international meets and expect him to win impressively.

If he does go and wind Then he'll be hailed as one of the truly greats,

But Alas France in October C'est la saison des parapluies Get yer brollys out

Paddy Power is surely taking the **** 4/6 money back NR.

2/1 Would be fair witha run.

The opposition could be the toughest he has yet faced if they all turn up.

Some spectacle it will be if he goes for it!!

Who will want to be a layer.

What a fascinating Arc it could be if the ground is not too soft.
