They are serious judges of horseflesh, they managed to pick out Steinbeck (as a foal)and Fencing Master, out of the dozens of Oratorio and Footstepsinthesand youngsters that must have gone through the sales ring. They only have the one Footstepsinthesand and the two Oratorios at Ballydoyle.

For anyone who is interested :

"St Nicholas Abbey is named after a plantation great house in Barbados – one of only 3 surviving Jacobean Buildings in the Western Hemisphere. Set in over 400 acres of sugar cane fields, lush tropical gullies and mahogany tree forests, the house was titled ‘Abbey’ by one of its past owners although it has never had religious connections. St Nicholas Abbey has developed a thriving cottage industry producing sugar-based goods including a premium rum, jams and chutneys. It is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Barbados."

Interesting - continuing the Barbados/Sandy Lane theme as previously used for Mullins Bay and The Green Monkey.

Okay.

So the prize is €50 (or £40) to a charity of your choosing. All you need to do is to pick the horse above who will end the season with the highest RPR on 1st November.

Somebody remind me to post the results in the autumn.

Reminded.
