Really think you've made a rick, there, GrassH ! :D
My withdrawal was in the lowish 3 figures; S.C.'s nascent withdrawal attempt is for a hefty four-figure sum.
I have no doubt that with BetButler the "waiting-time" increases geometrically in relation to the withdrawal sum requested.

Therefore, I humbly suggest a "3" should be placed in front of the "62-66 Days" to make for a more realistic spread. A full year sounds about right.

My ultimate get out is buried deep within my T&C's, icebreaker, where I use both 'Jovian Days' and 'Venusian Days' in a thoroughly inscrutable manner. Either way, I win, and will have legged-it with all stakes long before Slim gets paid by this mob.

Slim, please ensure we get daily updates on progress. This could turn out to be the most informative gambling thread in history. :D

Superb detective work, Swedish !!!

You are right, it is his avatar.
Good God, Is Chyrise really Slim Chance? 'Tis the only explanation.
Yes, it's all becoming clear now. Slim Chance's continual puffing of BetButler on here, e.g.,

Disgraceful behaviour by that man.

Warning -- kids, nobody on t'internet is who they seem.
To think I had been pouring out my heart for eight weeks to Chyrise, when all along it was Slim Chance I was crying to. :o

Chance of getting paid out before Christmas – SLIM

I may of made up rule 2.4?

Got no reply to my JPG file email so have sent them my 3rd withdrawal request. Fingers crossed for a good Christmas...

I don't want to add to your apprehension and concern, Mr Chance. I honestly don't.
But it does seem that difficulty in withdrawing seems to be endemic with this firm. I had thought that maybe it was only me that was experiencing issues by way of sheer bad luck. But no. it seems not.

The following was posted on another forum yesterday evening:

" I made a withdrawal of about £500 on 16/07/2013 to my moneybookers, after 3 weeks, I did not get the money. I asked the customer service, I was told that the money was processed. I told them that I did not receive the payment, there is no record about the withdrawal in my account ‘Fund History’. So I asked for the details of transactions. They just told me that their account department was looking into my withdrawal every time I enquired my withdrawal. now. I still did not get my money and got no detail about my withdrawal.
Does anybody have withdrawal problems with betbutler? how can I get my money back.
any advice ? thanks"

This unfortunate punter appears to have had his money just disappear !

It's all very well to laugh and joke about something like this, which is what we are doing. But I know how the stress levels can be raised by such issues -- especially when a decent sum of money is involved.
I'll just say to you to keep persevering; keep nagging them with emails. Even a phone-call if necessary. (Their tactic might be that if they filibuster and delay enough, a customer might just give up).
I'm sure that in the end it will come through if you keep at it.

You must be playing hard-ball, Slim, if they've shipped Chyrise and landed you with Grant. It should get more interesting from here, now that you have no feminine wiles to take advantage of. :D

I like Jacks idea of getting the money out via the exchanges.

They'll end up standing you decent bets once they think you're a hit and miss mug, and might even send you a Christmas card. :)

I have a similar problem with Canbet, just got money sat in there (about 1K) for the last couple of years, as I couldn't be bothered with the fiasco. I have to place the odd footy bet to stop them closing my account and keeping the money (which they've tried before). Problem for me now is they don't do UK racing anymore. Whatever your sport, stay well away from Canbet.

Chris ..............
Re Canbet, maybe you could make a complaint email to SBR ( www.sportsbookreview.com ) .
Although, since they have had so many complaints, I wonder if such will be of any worthwhile consequence.

SBR has only bad things to say about Canbet --
"Seven years ago Canbet broke into the top ten SBR recommended list of online sportsbooks. The Australia based operation had been a long-time member of the Top 20 list, widely regarded among off-shore bettors as a solid out that was worthy of being on any player’s short list. Canbet reached a rating as high as A-, earned on May 14th 2005. They maintained that mark impressively for four years.

Then everything changed. Bonus terms were retroactively changed, payouts were delayed, accounts were confiscated, and even winning wagers were canceled. Following IASbet's sale of Canbet on May 13th 2009 to Yin King Investments Ltd., Canbet has only continued its slide of poor management and player relations.

Here are some of the more disturbing unresolved complaints against Canbet. | View full report (written by Lou Moretti) "

What happened to me was I deposited some money, and went to place a bet (3+ years ago). They changed the odds as I went to bet, so got on with someone else instead.

A few days apssed and decided to withdraw my deposit as they very rarely went best price. They wouldn't let me without providing a copy of both sides of my visa card (in full), which I'm sure is illegal, and also a full copy of my passport, also risky when in combination with the full card details, as this would give them date of birth etc also.

I left the money in there and hit the bastards with 3 good things over a 1 year period. I didn't touch the account for ages after that, then wnet back in 6 months ago or so, and they'd taken all of my balance.

They had changed the rules about dormant accounts. After 6 months of no betting they take x% per month for another 6 months, at which point they take the lot.

I told them that they hadn't informed me of the rule changes which had changed from when I originally opened the account, and that if they didn't reinstate my balance 'in full' within 24 hours I would be passing the matter over to a legal representative. Money there first thing next day, with some shitty message that "after considering things, they have decided to reinstate the balance", like they're doing me a favour!

**** em!
