It's only a couple of typo's. Anyway, what do you expect when you're only pulling 1K.

You sure it's not just that you're missing Chyrise? :)

Typing @thebetbutler into the Twitter search engine brings up some worrying tweets from other customers not paid too.

Nah, that was just Chyrise being a little minx ............. and teasing the poor lad.
Your spread is still in play, Grass.

Eh?......I thought you got weighed-in a week of two back?

Withdrew £1k on the 16/10/2013

Unfairness I've no idea how the hell they keep control of cash flow. It would be better though if they were more transparent though. I'll happily wait once I get paid in a reasonable amount of time.

Told now it will be another 24 hours. Its not very good for the betting economy is it? I'd have recycled that £1.1k four times over by now.

Very worrying indeed for the larcenous bast*rds hoovering the unders on my spread.

Slim, I'll stick you on 30% of what I cream, if you simply state on this thread that settlement was reached on a day of my choosing - whatever it may be.

This email was for the amusement of Grasshopper and Icebreaker. I'm a sucker:

Chyrise,

Thanks for your email. I understand its a difficult job for customer services when payments are delayed but I do appreciate the payment being processed when I did get frustrated with the timescale. I will still happily use or recommend your service to others.

Regards

If the follow-up mail doesn't contain the phrases 'fine wines', 'Belgian chocolates' and 'gas mask' I will be most disappointed.

Go 'way ya crawler ya, boi.
(Hoping a properist Cork accent might bring you to your senses).

You need to toughen, fella. Get down and durty wiv 'em. That's what worked for me in the end. Talk of IBAS; yeah I know it's a toothless tiger, but it still carries a bit of weight when used to threaten. That, and mention of a County Court litigation seemed to get things moving for me when all else failed.
The softly-softly approach doesn't work with this shower. You get demoted to the back of the queue for being nice.

It is clear that Chyrise's womanly wiles and sly foxiness has you utterly discombobulated. Forget for one minute that she is a bootylicious beor, and communicate with her like you would any other call-centre wage-slave. :)

How's this looking? Plenty of other stories seem to be emerging of people not getting their withdrawals back.

To be fair I advised the chief instigator on Twitter to plague them on there with the hashtag #betbutler

Here's what I know.

In the first week of September they processed a £3k withdrawal after 4 days which to my mind was outstanding services.

On the 16th of September I requested a withdrawal of £1k but this was only processed on October 2nd after a friend of the forum gave me some pointers as to how to get paid quicker. This avanue has since closed.

Its quite clear to me that there is a preferences system on there withdrawal sheet and I, along with the current criers on Twitter, are on the bottom of it. Can you really blame BetButler if they're delaying payments to arbers and filth like me rather than pay big punters they are getting decent commission off of?

We all knew what we were getting involved with when we signed up for. I'm £3.2k better off for using them so despite withdrawal issues I'm obviously in love with Chyrstie an co :<3:

I have a similar problem with Canbet, just got money sat in there (about 1K) for the last couple of years, as I couldn't be bothered with the fiasco. I have to place the odd footy bet to stop them closing my account and keeping the money (which they've tried before). Problem for me now is they don't do UK racing anymore. Whatever your sport, stay well away from Canbet.
It seems Canbet are to cease trading.
The UK Gambling Commission are involved, so it might be worthwhile to again try to withdraw your funds at this juncture.

"Canbet will temporarily cease taking any further bets or deposits, effective from 31 December 2013, due to an ongoing system malfunction affecting client withdrawals and deposits. Please note that any unsettled bets will be honoured once the result is known.
The UK Gambling Commission has been notified of this decision.
Canbet has informed the UK Gambling Commission and we have assured them that ALL customer payments will continued to be paid as previously notified. "

Can't withdraw at the moment unless I use Skrill, even then I'm not sure. I can't be arsed to set it up (whatever it is). It says they'll be up and running again once they've sorted this issue (not sure about that though).

If the gambling commission are involved and they close for good, do I get paid automatically?

They still want photo ID, a recent utility bill or bank statement, and both sides (in full) of my debit card. Surely they can't ask for the last thing, as that sounds far too risky.

They allowed the deposit without any of that, but need it to withdraw, why? The other way around I can understand as it might be stolen etc.

I fuckin hate the bastards with a passion.
