Breeders Cup

There seems to be a collective memory loss from some as to how she won the 2009 race -- by Queally riding a good race by taking a race run at a slow pace by the scruff of the neck.

last years race was identical to this years then?..how identical..a carbon copy..every horse the same..same pace.

i thought every race were different

Can you imagine if he hit the front early with her yesterday only for her to idle as at Goodwood? He'd be slated for getting her there far too early.

Rough Sailing had to be put down after slipping and falling on the bend in the Juvenile Turf.

Gomez, winning jockey in the race, claims the ground is soft.

Really is not a very attractive turf course but the slippery surface is presumably down to the watering as much as anything else?

Slippery surface plus the tight bends makes it dangerous looking.

Stoute may have made the right decision in hindsight.

Another horse vanned off after the sprint .. not a good start to the day.

We have seen horses slip on every track around the world - lets not jump to conclusions based on this. Presumably Freddie Head is happy with the course to let Goldikova run.

I cannot understand why they bothered to bring Workforce over as they knew the track type and weather long before they got over there.

The Queally bashing on here is fucking hilarious - this place sounds like a high street betting shop more and more often when it comes to backing losers and blaming the jockeys. It's highly amusing really.

How many of the top twenty rated horses in the world are actually at this meeting? Seems a bit piss poor on the quality front.
